Poppy_Hillis 11
The Talented Mr. Ripley... for the first time.meh.The sailing scenes in that movie were awful. One minute they're sailing, the next they're not even up, and when they were they're luffing everywhere, the boom was swinging around. Stupid.

Balloon guy 158
Saw the Informantwith Matt DamonIt was okay, but hardly the movie it was hyped to be.Unlike all the other movies that live up to their hype I guess?
sandwedge 30
Cloudy With a Chance of MeatballsWith Matt Damon my daughter.Thought it was pretty goodMy favorite part was during a quiet, sentimental scene. For some reason only known to a 5 year old, my daughter started giggling, which caused me to LOL also.
BigDMcGee 3,352
Monster. If you'd told me in 2000, that in 2003 there was going to be a movie that had Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci making out, I would have thought it was probably going to be the hottest movie ever.Wrong. Dirtydutch 8
IDK...I mean it was amazing, but it was pretty hot.
CaneBrain 95
Bottle Shock. Very plain, well acted movie about how California wines gained recognition on the world stage. I actually loved the simplicity and would recommend the movie.

king_tanner 84
Wolverine... I actually really enjoyed this. I wasn't expecting much since the critics seemed to trash it, was pleasantly suprised.
Governator 54
Transformers (yes first time haha)I thought it was awesome aside from the countless lame attempts at adding humour to it. The effects were incredible, absolutely loved seeing Decepticons and Autobots come to life. Very fun movie, now I gotta see Revenge of the Fallen.
Lucky777 0
The last movie I saw in a movie theater was '300'. I usually watch movies I rent from Netflix. Last movie I watched was 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'. It was an alrigh movie. Could have been better IMO.
GWCGWC 83
X-Men Origins was excellent. I hadn't read or seen any reviews on purpose since that taints the experience for me. NF 5 star.Similla's Sense of Snow. Not sure how this got in my queue. The story was good but the time line in the movie was off to the point of distraction. NF 3 star. Vitus. Worth watching if you don't mind reading sub titles. NF 5 star. Inglorious Basterds. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about this movie. It was good and all but it's not like some other QT movies that I can watch multiple times. I loved the idea of cutting a swastika in the foreheads of the Nazi's and the dialogue that went with those scenes. I hate nazi's and pretty much hate old Germans by default. JoeyJoJo 18
what posts got deleted in the wsope thread?Ha, trying to hide from Bob in here?About five minutes after Bob posted the details of the final table, Rose posted the exact same thing. So then I posted the exact same thing again. Then Tehtoe did it too. Bob deleted all but his own.So...nothing exciting.

JoeyJoJo 18
I know how I feel about it, precisely.Well, confusion came first. I thought maybe NF stood for something like "not fucking." You know, NF 5 Stars really means "not fucking 5 stars, that's for damn sure." But then he did say it was excellent...So that brought me to my next feeling, which was sort of a condescending superiority. "He just doesn't get it."But then I thought about who had posted it and I thought he was one of the good guys, so then I started feeling a little sad. A cornucopia of emotions really. solderz 0
Anyone here seen Antichrist yet? What a fucked up movie.Their is a close up of a woman cutting off her clit with a pair of scissors (I guess the director figured someone was going to do it sooner or later and he might as well be the first). I thought maybe NF stood for something like "not fucking." You know, NF 5 Stars really means "not fucking 5 stars, that's for damn sure." A cornucopia of emotions really. You must have been wrong about one of these things... and all evidence is pointing toward sentence number 7. Unless you don't count sentences, that begin with a conjunction and end with an ellipse, a sentence.... then it would be sentence number 6. Then again, maybe I can't count or don't know what a sentence is in the first place, so I would have been better off saying the second to last sentence.I'm tired.
Jadaki 0
Watched Wanted last night for the first time. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting based on things I had heard, but it wasn't exactly something I want to watch again either.
GWCGWC 83
Oh, that's probably it.I'm not sure how I feel about someone saying X-Men Origins is "excellent" and Inglorious Basterds is "good and all."Well X-men is a comic book movie rental viewed at home and Inglorious Basterds is written and directed by Quentin god damned Tarantino and viewed in the threater. One's a movie and the other a film. These two pieces of entertainment are held to a completely different standard in my mind. I have a soft spot for comic book movies and I think you know better than to look for any type of logic in my posts. One scene in IG that bothered me was the Bear Jew smashing the nazi skull after an interrogation. The sound of the bat hitting the wall getting louder as the Bear Jew was coming out of the darkness just seemed off. No big deal. The main problem I had was the bat breaking on the nazi's head but then being whole later in the scene. Granted, I could be wrong and on second viewing the bat didn't actually break on the nazi's head. That type of shit just bugs me since it's not something QT would overlook and it's an unnecessary distraction that takes away from the perfection that I've come to expect from his movies. I suppose I'll watch the movie again at some point but on first viewing it was just 'good'. I would totally give it a 5 star NF rating.
