SBriand 4
37? jesus, you're almost dead. Thanks for your warm birthday wishes. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!Haha, that's awesome. Your cat is so crazy. What was she attacking, the camera? She has strange colouring, is she mixed-breed do you know?Sadly she was pretty tired by that point. I couldn't find the camera fast enough and about 5 minutes after that video ended she was in my lap passed out. There is a little string for the wrist on the camera that she kept attacking. All video's I have of her have her attacking that dame thing. She is main coon and probably just American long hair. She has tortoiseshell markings. So probably some of that in her too. Sickinfo2 291
I don't like AC/DC very muchTwo thingsI was in the local Lowes a few days ago when my phone rang (Highway to Hell) in the middle of the transaction. The cashier, a girl around the age of twenty, looked up with a big smile and said "IVE GOT THE EXACT SAME RINGTONE!......I JUST LOVE THOSE OLD SONGS!"After brushing myself off from that blow, I remarked "Yeah....I went to five of their concerts across five states a few weeks ago"She frowned slightly and said, "Oh.....I figured they were dead"BitchAnyhoo, Im proud to announce that I may have pulled the ultimate info job of my career concerning the greatest band of all timeI cant divulge any details at this time, but lets just say it involves me, my son, AC/DC, and their appearance locallyIts about eighty percent possible at the moment, but I still have a few cards up my sleeve to play....My toughest obstacle is getting Chris up here to enjoy the festivities

leftygolfer 7
Anyway, I'm just rambling, but I was wondering if any of you have employees, and -- if so -- what kind of relationship you have with them, and what techniques you use to keep them motivated. Remember, I have almost no ability to offer financial incentives. We have 25, most don't have a college degree and we only have 2 salaried workers beside my 2 brothers and me. We have quarterly lunches for no injuries, pay Christmas bonus, 401k and profit sharing(we maxed out the contributions last year despite not the best of years) and we also cover 50% of empoyees health insurance ( which includes their family, and 100Q% of the cost for S/T and L/T disability.Like Ron says, it's all about the take home. Most couldn't care about the other benefits. I bet only 25% have ever said thank you for the free lunch, bonus etc.Treat them fair, be honest and be consistent. Try not to play favorites, although that is really tough to do sometimes. The good cop/bad cop can send a mixed message sometimes. It's an employers market these days, so take your time hiring new people. Check out their references. We keep the relationship totally business. No going out for drinks with the help. Next thing, I know one gets in an accident and we get sued. Tought to keep people motivated without financial incentives. What about additional hours/overtime?Please. It's not like I'm being worked at a strip club. I just don't care about money enough.HU4ROLLZ?The hotel we stayed at in Phoenix had a "few" MOTB. By few, I mean 600 of the 700 rooms. The bellman said "it's ok, abot 100 are leaving tonight after sundown." I replied...wow, what an Exodus.BSBA from The John M Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. mk 11
She frowned slightly and said, "Oh.....I figured they were dead"lol, who talks like this?some of the most fun i've ever had playing music was in this good cover band i played in in college and the singer was obsessed with ac/dc and could kinda pull it off so we played a bunch of their tunes. always really enjoyed learning angus's solos. super tasty. Tactical Bear 3
Hey Speedz..I just wanted to say, for the record. I was wrong. The AI-Billups trade was disastrous for Detroit.Anybody who thought Iverson was even close to the player Billups is at this stage of their careers is fairly silly. It was just about caproom anyway. I think I thought the RunThemOver thing was funny, and I'm pretty sure I understood everything pretty well. I'm still not sure if there's another level of humor I'm not getting, but I knew -- for the most part -- what was going on and what all the words meant and stuff. So last night we put on a money-added tournament for all the dealers (and one guest apiece). One of the other floor guys volunteered to run it, even though it was my idea to put together. He said I could play. Okay.So when I take my seat, he comes in and announces that there is a $150 bounty on my head. I immediately announced that I was going to go wire-to-wire. I open-shoved the first hand, and NOBODY CALLED. It was a rebuy tournament. The full rebuy if you got stacked was $20. At that point, I knew it was probably not going to be as hard as I imagined....I was dodging raindrops most of the game, and I had to take a few clubs out of the bag early, and pay even closer attention to which players were thinking, and which were not. The hand that got me over the top:Loose/weak shortie limps for 2K. Folds to the cutoff, who raises to 6K he has me covered with about 30K in his stack. I am on the button, with 28K total. I look down at As9s, and move in. Limper calls for 5K more. Cutoff tanks, and folds 99 face-up. "You know I have you covered, and you know I have to call." Limper had trash and I was up to 45K. Anyway, we got 4-handed and the chop was 350 apiece. I think I had half the chips in play, but these guys work for me, so I said I'd put my bounty in the pot, and we'd take 385. Those motherfuckers will NEVER live my dominance down. I'm going to be kinda legendary after this one. WANGBEAR RULES

It was just about caproom anyway.yeah, and in that case, the trade was successful. But, and maybe this is results oriented, the east ended up really weak with the injuries to the Celtics and Orlando. Detroit with billups maybe had a shot to get to the eastern confrence finals, and if that's the case, I don't think they should have made the trade. And what's detroit really going to do with that cap room? Who is going to sign with Detroit at this point.. the average price of homes in detroit is like 18K ( i'm not joking, btw). It's a waste land. Maybe they wanted the cap room, just so they don't have to pay the salaries or w/e, but in retrospect, I think they should have given it one more shot. I also thought AI had more in the tank than he did.

I also thought AI had more in the tank than he did.Dumars is going for the gusto, Cavs and Celtics (+Orlando potentially) showed that they are much better teams than Detroit so Dumars decided that going forward the only way they were going to get back to being one of the elites in the East was to go for free agents. I get it, its a calculated gamble hes hoping Stuckey develops into a solid piece and they can use that cap space to pick up 2 studs. Problem is Stuckey is'nt going to be anywhere near the calibre of Billups, Billups is a really good leader can post up most point guarnds, knows how to run an offence and is a clutch shooter. And Dumars underestimated how much Billups was the linchpin in that team, without him they are'nt half the team as tehy are with him.

They live in Farmintgton Hills, Birmingham, and Bloomfield Hills. Houses there are much more than $18K.That is not my point. I wasn't saying that the players are going to be shopping for a house in sunny downtown detroit. My point is the detroit economy is falling off a cliff. Which wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't also a miserably cold and snowy place for the majority of the NBA season. It has to be about the most undesirable destination in the NBA for a free agent. Except for the huge markets that lead to endosement deals, location is waaay overrated as a draw for free agents.I am at Panera right now, and the talent is just... Unbelievable. Even the oldies are at least a 7/10.
