gobears 0
Vitaliy Katsenelson, a value investor/author, that I follow is having a book signing in Omaha at a Dairy Queen - that's for you Brvheart. Also, our next door neighbors are doing a huge remodel on their house and moved out for six months - last night around 2:00 a.m., a policeman who was driving by noticed a van sitting in front of their house. When he checked the hood, the engine was warm and the van took off. He chased after them and found the van abandoned but noticed a taxi close by. The two burglars were in the back seat and were apprehended.

I got bombed, came home (without driving), made a nugget on Stars and another $100 on Full Tilt. Funny, I'm kinda proud of me. I had no money on FTP and a buddy transferred me $11.00 for two cheapy sngs. I won my first one, transferred him back his $11 and I now have $450 on FTP. That's something, right? El Guapo 8
Weeeeeiiiiiiirrrrrrdddddddd Day.I went to my grandfathers viewing and burial today, at which I was a pall bearer. Never done that before, hope to never have to again. Viewings are such a wierd tradition. It creeps me out. I lost it when my grandmother went and said goodbye to her husband for the last time, then they closed the casket, before we took it to the herse. The burial was fairly traditional, the preacher said a prayer that everyone knew "...hallow be thy name...." that I just listen to because I don't know it, and don't really care to. Then the Honor Guard played TAPS and presented my grandmother with a Flag. If you can go through that live without bawling like a little baby, you are a bigger man than me. It's gets me in movies, live.... Holy Shit is that emotional.A few days ago I posted a picture of me and my son and grandfather standing in front of a P-51 Mustang. This is the plane that he flew in WWII. We all got to go out on flights that day and it was amazing. Well as the burial ceremnoy was coming to a close I look up in the sky and there was a Jet Stream over my head, I leaned over to my cousin and said that is fitting. Not 10 seconds later, the same P-51 does a fly by, then circles around and BUZZes the cementary at maybe 200 feet. he broke numerous no fly zone laws and fligh hights, then did a barrell roll on his way out out. It was the most AMAZING gesture I have ever seen. The plane just got out of the shop yesterday, it was perfect timing and the most appropriate way to send my grand father into the afterlife (if you believe in such things). It put a smile on my face, on what was one of the hardest days of my life. For those that know the Bay Area, it was in pleasnton on a hill over looking Castlewood Gold course and Sunol. Part of which is a no fly zone.At the family get together afterwards I get some of the best and worst news I possibly can at the same time.Best: We recently moved and rented out home out. We are actually living with my mother in law until we can figure out where to live and to save up for a down payment on a another home. Well my dad is going to possibly buy my wife and I a home, and allow us to move in a quit deed oureselves on it and assume the mortgage.Worst: At the same time he told me he is not sure if my mother and he are going to stay together. This has been on and off for 11 years. My dad is also an alcoholic and told me that he fell off the wagon about a year ago, but has been back on since. So, yeah.UmI am not sure if I could have possibly have had a more emotional day. As I typed this, I realized part of the reason this place is so great is its therapeutic effect for things like this. I can get things off my chest and not have to really worry about being judged or having to answer about it. Is almost like a personal journal, but not as gay.Anway....that's about all I can hanlde right now.

(jk) (obviously)I'm officially gay..I can't believe I actually like this chick (Girl I Like = GIL). We texted a lot again tonight, she and her friends were out downtown, my roommates and I were out in Wrigleyville (for those of you that know Chicago..they're not very close to each other). Meeting up just didn't work out tonight..this other girl I've kinda been working on was out with us and definitely wanted to get STUFFED, but I held back because 2 of GIL's friends were with us. I don't even know me anymore. And yes, I know that GIL is a shitty acronym, and yes I know it's only 3 am here but big shitty tap's line was too long for a late night bar. It also should be noted that I originally spelled Girl I Like GIK for some reason, and went through 2 proofreads before noticing that.
