I prefaced statements with "I thought". I'm no expert at HU. I said I thought RDog would win longterm. I do think he underestimated the OP. So he wins a buyin(two?) which he is supposed to. I think that's a minor win compared to what actually happened. Rdog wins a couple b/i, that's break even at this point . He goes on to lose almost 3, along with some face. So unless he was going to take some extreme pleasure off of taking a buyin off of a guy he already has no respect for, then it was breakeven/lose at best. As far as the realization, isn't the whole reason for bankroll to withstand variance? So if a hotshot who is better than you comes through with 5 buyins, he still really never stands of chance because he'll get broken by variance anyway. It also goes for getting luckboxed obv, but not for the sake of this example. I never said the OP was specifically better, but I don't think any consideration was ever given to the possibility he was good. I stand by the assersation that the OP is no rookie, and had the upperhand in this spur of the moment grudge match. As far as credentials, I am a member of the PokerPlayersAlliance. I also have received tshirts for busting pros on full tilt. I talked to Scott Matusow on his webshow the other night. I've also spent countless hours here browsing. I don't participate as much as I should. I don't mind being patronized with questions like that. I'm not sure how many levels there are. I'm right up to the level where the plan is hatched. Rdog snaps on a degen poster, takes on a silly challenge to back up his spewy mouth, and then loses 3 buyins but gains some humble pie, all teh while plotting to set up the OP to keep coming back to him after upswings time, after time, after time, turning respectable profits, coming back and telling everyone who ever gave him any grief about his attitude "HAHA TOLD YOU SO".
