king1305 0
It is kinda funny how people say to check feelings at the door when handling criticism, yet when RDog is being criticized himself, he runs away from the forums.lol. You're a fucking joke dude. Seriously. Rod has been considering leaving this godforsaken place for a long time now, just as most of the great players eventually get forced out.It is people like you, the ones who "don't take poker seriously, but start shit and jump on the smallest little things the good players say" that continually force the better players out. If it weren't for the New Challenge (Old Challenge) and the Minbettors Society threads this place would not have very many legit poker pros posting at all. Some people actually take poker seriously and look at it as a means to an end. You don't. Congrats. You have a job you enjoy doing that pays you well. Others have a job that pays them well too and it is poker. How would accountants feel if there was an accounting message board and someone who took one semester of General Accounting in college came on and tried to tell the CPA's on the board that they were wrong and constantly try to start a fight with them. Also, when the General Accounting people come on and are doing something wrong that the CPAs have worked so hard over their schooling and careers to learn about and it is goes against everything that the CPAs stand for, of course they would get angry too. Why are you on a poker forum if you aren't taking it seriously? Don't post hands asking for help if you don't want any, don't post "brags" about "busting your whole roll and then luckboxing some FPPs into a substantial sum of money" if you aren't expecting the people who take this game seriously and practice very intense bankroll management to come on and say how big of an idiot you are.I wouldn't come to your work place and say, "Dude, you're totally wrong here," when I have no idea what you do, nor am I a professional at it.The luck factor in poker is what separates it from a regular job because on any given day random Joe Schmoe can come into the poker world and win a lot of money. It happens. I couldn't walk into an Accounting firm on Monday morning and do someones taxes.

BellaireDrew 2
As someone who has been coached by Rdog I can say for a fact it's better to be blunt when teaching. That way the mistake you made is ingrained into your memory that much more and you're able to recognize similar situations and not repeat your mistakes, thus progressing. Rdog is blunt but extremely encouraging at the same time and I've come to realize how valuable he is to this forum over the past 5 months. Rdog is worth about 20 of you random clown posters in pure content alone. It really makes me upset to see the forum drive away the most accomplished players we have. There's a reason he's the member of the month and you're not.This.lol. You're a fucking joke dude. Seriously. checkymcfold 0
We were turning this into such a constructive discussion too. the kid starts smoking weed and all of a sudden he's trying to turn a nice drama thread into some sort of homo-hippie group hugfest.

DinkDonk 1
I've been a hippy (and homo) for years. I just recently added the weed to make things round out properly.
checkymcfold 0
Don't act like that's not what you wanted all along.that's not the point at all. just because i'm cursed with such amazing fashion sense and good looks doesn't mean that i wish it on anyone else. it's a hell of a burden to bear.on a more "serious" note, i think that pretty much everyone alive takes the internet far too seriously. they make ignore poster functions for a reason--so that if one or two people piss you off (coughgallocoughkurtcough), you can ignore them and go on your merry way. it's also worth saying that if you have a tough time ignoring the shit that annoys you on poker forums, it's entirely likely that you have some unaddressed tilt issues when you're at the table. i don't really see a reason to allow something as benign as teh interwebz to make your life tougher than it already might be. checkymcfold 0
if king took the time to fmp, i'm reasonably sure that means i am going to win at least my first match in his bff bracket. sportsbettors, you can book it.pretty much everyone could stand to smoke more weed, imo. except for this kid i knew in college. dude got ****ing WEIRD when he was high. DinkDonk 1
On a completely serious note, I think weed is an amazingly good stress-management tool for poker players. I don't play high though. Honestly, I really don't do much high. Eat counts I guess.
