Don't butcher the thread!!Last night's voting was just stupid... James was the only one who clued in and went for Parvati... Amanda & Eric should've went with him and they should've convinced Jason to use the hidden idol as his name is the talk of the tribe. The only possible way James, Eric & Amanda could've split the girls alliance was to get Jason on their team, play the idol and eliminate Parvarti. Can't believe Amanda has let those girls run the tribe. Now her, James and Eric are on the outs and really have no plan to go up against the 4 girls.Since the idol wasn't played I guess it could be found again? If one of those 3 get it they need to play right away and get out one of the girls.

Even though I agree with the plan, the only problem is JASON. He is waaaaaay too trusting and I don't think Jason would've voted against Natalie, he would've sided with her and went with James. Jason felt he had an alliance with Natalie.Although I did love the way James outted Pavrati, the tribe just doesn't see that Cirie had a bigger role in this than Pavrati. I'll say it again, as much as I hate Cirie (mainly because of her attitude) I think she is playing the best game right now. She's pulling strings, but staying out of the limelight. Also, I think that Cirie will once again jump ship and Pavrati will get voted out next or at least one of the other girls.

True, Cirie has been enforcing some silent power in this game.I may be giving Amanda too much credit, but I think she was willing to sit back and see how things turned out last night as long as it wasn't gonna be her. Hypothetically, if James had gone last night, she would still have had the option of sticking with the 5 girl alliance long enough to get rid of Jason and Eric and then tried to make a move.As it is now, it doesn't seem she'll break her alliance with James, and Eric has fit with them pretty well. Their best bet may be to swing Cirie and vote out one of the other 3 girls (Alexis?) next. Not sure if she'll go for it, she likes to eliminate the physical threats and the target is probably on James. This late in the game, you start looking at who you'd want to be with at the very end. Parvati is starting to look like a prime candidate for "most likely to make the final 3 and get 0 votes". Natalie obviously has an enemy on the jury as well now.Sadly for him, James is likely the 1 person you don't want to go up against at the end. Don't think it will matter, he just doesn't have the outwit quality in him. I mean, I know he was pissed, but strategically how stupid was it for him to vote Parvati when he knew no one else was? His comment at tribal was funny, but it was no secret to Ozzy who had jumped ship.

I mean it could be editing, but Ozzy and Eliza had a look on their face of "Wow!" as soon as James outted Pavrati. And I agree with you as far as taking Pavrati to final 3. I think Cirie ill be doing some jumping around very soon. How does Eric fit in all this? Who will he side with? Does he even have a chance? I mean, the biggest thing he has going for him is winning the immunity challenges now that Jason is gone. Also remember that towards the end, balancing plays a big roll in the challenges late in the game, meaning that women usually win the final challenges.

Has a hidden immunity idol ever been successfully played? (ie to save someone who would have otherwise gone home)I seem to remember one being played when it turned out not to be necessary.James + Ozzie were voted out without using their idols. I'm not a die-hard fan, just cant recall a moment off the top of my head....

Yau-Man used it on his original season, he had a hunch they were going to vote for him and they did, but he used it and was saved.Earlier in the season one of the dudes used it but they weren't even voting for him.

I don't understand Amanda, she is in the same position as she was last year, she gets the chance to make game changing decisions and she doesn't do it. There is no way Cirie and Parvati are going to stick with her.
Can't believe Amanda has let those girls run the tribe. Now her, James and Eric are on the outs and really have no plan to go up against the 4 girls.
I don't get why Amanda needs to make moves here-she's basically ensured a final 5 spot as long as the guys don't win both the immunity challenges from here on out, and she's probably the biggest physical threat out there-Cirie and the two fans are useless. Plus, she's put herself in a position where she won't look like the villain to anyone on the jury-everyone except Cirie will be seen as shadier than her, and even Cirie might be seen in a worse light. I think right now she is the favorite to win the game.

wrong. If you watched Ozzy's final words from last week you would know that he didn't know who it was and when he finds out there will be payback. As soon as James outed Parvati (what a stupid name) then Ozzy sat up and shook his head. He just found out at tribal who backstabbed him.

I agree. Amanda isn't on anyone's bad side. She's shown loyalty to her original alliance (the guys) without catching the wrath of the other girls. I think she's content to go with the flow. If she'd jumped over and pulled something sneaky with James, Jason, and Erik, that would've probably worked...but then she's stuck with three strong guys. If she allows the girls' plan to go through, she can still remain "supportive" of the guys (getting jury votes) without betraying them while remaining the strongest of the girls.Basically, what you said...there's no need for her to make a move.My favorite players left: 1) Erik, 2) Amanda, 3) James, 4) Alexis. Granted, Erik's "character" never seems to win these.

I disagree. If she makes a move to get Parv/Cirie out she's pulling the strings of three strong stupid guys. IMO with the girls she's at the bottom. Amanda's game really seems to be off this season. Last season I thought she did well with Todd, she was able to use her strategy often but allowed Todd to take the blame, but her horrible final Tribal Council cost her the game. This season she just seems lost.

If Ozzy gets through to the merge with the original 4 alliance intact, the game is over, it's a race for second. He's set himself up as the leader, is by far the biggest threat for every individual immunity, and has the idol. He's also got enough strong to semi strong connections that he can lean into them early in the process (when there is 10 left) to ensure he gets rid of the people he needs to, and then withdraw back into his alliance of 4 (which still looks super strong to me, based on the fact that Amanda and Parvati still aren't good players, and James' desire not to do something insane like he did last season), and will coast down to 4 with the game in his pocket.

I would have pulled it out... she knew it wasn't it, but what the hell might as well go for it. LOL Jason thought it was it the whole time though, that kid is really dumb as dirt. I don't like his cockiness either. I thought they gave Eliza kind of a hard time at tribal. Yeah she might have tried to vote Parvati off, and she wasn't social, but she wasn't a bitch to anyone. Parvati was just being a bitch, and I didn't think Eliza deserved that. Eliza seemed to take it well though which was cool to see.I also like how Alexis thinks she has everything figured out when she really doesn't. The only thing she has really done is get into an unreliable alliance with Parvati and Natalie (and it looks like from the previews for next week Cirie) which she didn't arrange anyways. She was just in the right place at the right time. She is the definition of riding coattails, and if she makes it to the end there is no way she wins at this point. If I was that group of broads I would seriously consider getting rid of Ozzy ASAP before it gets too late and he will know to use the idol. If they go for him next week I don't think he will be expecting it. He has the idol, and is overall best at challenges, he needs to go now.
Nice post.He showed just how dumb he was by not playing the Idaol after he found it. They really had him snowed.Good call on bolded #2!

That's kind of what I thought until we got deep in the show. Also, I think Jeff will out Erik for the tribe name. You could see him smirking, but I think he wanted to research it first. One other thing...I think it's going to be week after week of people trying to concoct a plan to get rid of Ozzy and I think Amanda and Parvati might end up being the architects of this, with Cirie being the catalyst. I also think that Ozzy will be able to see it coming and is capable of dodging that bullet.

The next few shows will be interesting. How will alliances develop? I see James, Amanda, Erik and Jason on one side and Cirie, Nathalie, Parvati and Alexis on the other. Now that Ozzy is gone, Amanda may forget about the jealousy she felt about Alexis getting all snuggly with Oz. Amanda becomes the key as the swing vote against the dangerous men, but her distrust of Parvati and (potential) residual emotions against Alexis will keep her on the men's side and they need her big time. Will the men try and get Cirie over? Maybe. Will Cirie backstab someone? Absolutely. Will Parvati suck James dry in an attempt to win back his favour? Most likely.
The bolded....How in the world did this not happen. I was screaming at the TV when these 4 did not get together and vote off Pavarti ot Natalie, who was really annoying this last episode. She needs to go. I am at a loss on why these 4 did not try to shift the game, especially with Amanda and James leading them.

omg lol, Jason officially dumbest player everUm hi Natalie, welcome to the show, now that they finally showed you, the whole episode is of you being an annoying bitch. Congratulations for being so cutthroat, you just lost a vote for the million if you make it to the end. Yay girl power.Max you are right James should of at least mentioned something to Jason, Jason is still completely retarded though. He could have turned it on Parvati and got her voted out.I don't understand Amanda, she is in the same position as she was last year, she gets the chance to make game changing decisions and she doesn't do it. There is no way Cirie and Parvati are going to stick with her.Ozzy is bitter lol. What is up with James and his apple reference. He said it like 12 times.
EXACTLY!Like I said before, cannot BELIEVE that those 4 didn't try to get rid of Parv or Natalie.LOL at Ozzy giving the finger.....so angry. He is done and did not want to be there at all. Can't wait for him at the final jury.James said that alot last year to. Just one of his sayings.

Exactly. This would have been the perfect time to get rid of one of the two biggest schemers in the game Cirie or Parv. But the guys and Amaduh are too stupid to see it. They should have told Jason what was going on. the 4 of them could have voted for Parv or Cirie while the other four split their votes between James and Jason. Jason still wouldn't have need to play the idol yet and Parv or Cirie go home. Blindsiding the blindsiders. Now there's some faces I would have loved to have seen.
EXACTLY!

Common sense should say don't read a thread about a live show until you are caught up.Maybe I am the only one who thinks this way.
QFT.I was behind 2 weeks, watched them both last night.Hence my c/u today.

I thought she really choked with the Jury. She could have won if she had been a better public speaker. With her lack of big moves thus far and her rep of being an idiot in front of the Jury she has little chance to win this game.
