All Cirie wanted was for Amanda to acknowledge that Cirie would have been harder to beat.Amanda lost because she had a hard time defining her strategy and acknowledging the effect it had on the others and explaining herself in general. Too bad... Two great runs blown because she wimped out. Parv's answers were only slightly better and I'm a little shocked she won.A great season with a disappointing end, but still unpredictable and fun.Survivor: Gabon should be fun...Leopards, surfing hippos, gorillas...wow...who's going to get eaten? "That's/There's Jeff Probst, he is standing right there" So funny.The ponderosa vids were a nice addition to the show this year as well. Did you all see the one with Ozzy and the sea snake? She blew it there with Cirie..I HATE that Parv won it. I didn't realize there was so much Amanda hate going on in the group. I was hoping that when Ozzy went off on Parv that it would have helped to change a couple of sway votes to Amanda instead of Parv.. but apparently that didn't happen.. Mercury69 3 Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 About the Natalie thing, I think Nat was trying to ask if Parv was as inclined to infidelity in real life as she seemed to be in the game and was, maybe, trying to find out where Parv draws the line or if Parv uses people wherever she is, aside from the fairly obvious sexual interesst Natalie has (dyke or bi?)...I was hoping this would be the "other" love connection Jeff was talking about, but maybe lesbo stuff is still to risque for network television in an RL context. But I don't really mind that Parvati won it.Her decision to add Alexis/Nat to her team when they were outnumbered really helped her out at the final tribal council. They obviously remained loyal to her. Also, she was the swing vote that knocked out Ozzy and she along with Cirie realized that was the best chance to take out one of the biggest threats in the game.With Ozzy, James and Erik (even after that lousy answer to him) locks for Amanda and Alexis/Nat staying with Parvati, the votes up for grabs were Eliza, Cirie and Jason. Losing Eliza's vote was bad as she had a lot of reasons to vote for Amanda but Amanda didn't give her any reasons to vote for her with her sad final tribal council answers. With Cirie, that answer was cringe-worthy; hasn't she watched any of the past episodes like when Earl complimented Yao-Man by explaining that he voted him off because "he couldn't beat him" and got Yao-Man's vote?Great season; it'll be hard to top it. She was more just straightfoward with her answers. It would've been very interesting if it would've been between Amanda and Cirie. I think Amanda wins, but just barely against Cirie.(They didn't show who would've for who if it was against Cirie did they?)Cirie probably gets the votes from Natalie, Alexis, Eliza and maybe even Jason. Amanda definitely gets Ozzy, James, Parvati, and Eric. So I guess maybe it would've ended in a tie.So does anyone know if there would've been a tie breaker and what it would have been? Amanda strategized when she needed to also. For examples, the blindside when she had the hidden idol, and getting pissed at Erik to convince him that he needed to redeem himself with the tribe.
