and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

It's -8 outside. -18 with windchill. I'm going to have to let my car warmup for an hour before I even think of getting in.

Can't sleep so watching some MASH. They're in Sherms office because they tbink Hotlips might be pregnant and she's just pounding booze. Hilarious. The seventies were a different time, man.

I have a $500 deductable that has to be met before they start kicking in anything. after that I start being able to do the copay thing, which is 20% in network, 40% out. so basically insurance doesn't pay for jack squat. it is not very good insurance.

As someone who did benefits for about 4 different companies, a $500 deductible is pretty solid and the 20% co insurance is standard.

If you have co-pays, chances are you're paying more out of each check.

My company offers an hmo plan where if you're the only one covered, the bank pays for it. I have no deductions for insurance. That's pretty awesome

What isn't awesome is my $35 co-pay for regular doc and $65 for specialist. But it's better than making my $2000 deductible and then paying 20%

Town covers half of my insurance, but my family plan is still like $650 a month. But, $15 co-pays, no deductibles. X-rays/MRIs are free. I starting allergy shots this year, those are all free. The couple specialists I've seen just have the regular co-pay. When I had the kid, my wife was in the hospital for 3 or 4 nights (c-section) and I don't think I paid a dime of the 100k or whatever the whole thing cost.

yeah to be fair I'm not really sure what I put in every paycheck. think it was like 6 grand total last year according to my taxes (that's what that section means, right? I can't be bothered with these things).

Obama care in a nut shell. Those of us that can afford it pay a shitload for crappy coverage so that those that can't afford it get "free" health care. Nothing is free.
