Anyway I spied on y'all and wanted to make some kind of insensitive comment to Wang but now the moment has passed. A lot of women sunbathe topless in Croatia. Just letting y'all know. Not me though. If so that's a bit of a shame as the whole bilingual thing probably makes it easier to understand when reading. I hope they included the footnotes too? Those are important. Anyway, did you like it? Anyway, did you like it?The audio worked great for me. I can read a little Spanish but pick it up more when listening. My dad was married to a Mexican woman and I was close with her kids for years so I am used to listening more than reading. Another benefit was having read "A Voyage Long and Strange" gave me a good background and the Dominican Republic. They had different readers for the different chapters, depending on the character as well and they all were great and I thought it added alot being able to hear voice inflection and not get bogged down reading the Spanish. So I really loved it all the way around. I am sitting here thinking about some parts and can "hear" him (the author) cursing and describing pepole and it's cracking me up. Most people don't. Most people are completely deluded about what they really are in the eyes of other people, choosing to believe the most favorable characterization they can create in their own minds, instead of seeing themselves as others see them. That man knows he's an asshole. He also knows that dynamic of who he is won't be changing, so he's being upfront about it all... and chances are, he's a significantly better boss than 99% of other all bosses, who maintain a more palatable demeanor, but are lower than garbage as human beings. He knows the sort of person who replies to that ad is going to be 'special' in terms of having a certain personality type that will make them a very strong candidate for becoming a long term asset to the company (which is what you want in a bookkeeper) That ad was placed by a man who knows business and hates bullshit.
