I swore to myself I'd never post in here, but I had one, that just blew my mind. Now, Just to get it out of the way, this is not disguised as a bad beat story. If I was worried about bad beats, I'd post in there. This is pure and simple golden for what he said...shoot, it was worth the 80 bucks.I have A Q in the cutoff, at this casino, you're allowed to straddle (blind double bet where the straddle gets last option), so this college kid straight from his frat home game, straddles for 6. It's folded down to me, I raise to 18 straight. Fold fold fold, gets to the kid and he insta pushes....I shrug, doubt I'm any better than a coinflip, but hey, you never know right? And with the crap he's been showing down, it's possible I'm ahead, even dominating him. I call, and he flips over K 2 off. Meh, I'm not way ahead, but I'll take it. Flop of course is a king, and no help for me. The reason he gave for his insta push?"Well, I had to defend my straddle"Thank you, I now retire from this thread.

This is what drove you to post here after holding off for months? This was the hand? I do this kind of **** myself at least five times a night when I play low stakes live. The best part is after you do it a few times, you can get people to start calling your A9 all-ins with A5 and actually make back all the money you lost.

In a $20 rebuy home game tournament, 40 of us started, we are down to about 25.Guy on my right who has been calling to the river every time he flops a pair calls an all in with Q7 on a K75 board and proceeds to lose.Me: 'I know it's hard to fold a pair, I mea, you only flop onne 35% of the time.'Him: 'Oh oh, we got one of those 'percentages players' on on our hands'.

norny, now, you know I like you right? There is so much wrong with this post1. You play Play Money because you are broke, not just for fun2. Play Money Tables can't qualify in here. They are fish by default3. THe "noob" was likely venting and 100% joking with you :club:
i know all of this just felt like posting it he wasnt joking though he went on about it and i play for money now lol

Next time I play online, I'll just put a rail call out to all the FCPers. I'm always saying fishy things... it's fun putting driving others crazy thinking that you know nothing.

This one made me laugh.$3 rebuy tournament, 2000 starting chips, very first hand blinds 10/20.Can't remember the exact details but i limped with 22. Theres a couple more limpers and the someone raises to about 150. I call and catch my 2 on a K high flop. We get it all in and the raiser loses the whole stack with AK and doesn't rebuy. A few moments pass before i see "n.ob, how can u call that raise. Learn to play poker". I don't know why but for some reason this made me burst out laughing.
Hmm. I'm surprised so many people thought this was a bad call. The hand played exactly as i hoped it would and even if i had missed i'd have used the rebuy option immediately after the hand.

This is a good fish comment, well played."The hand played exactly as I hoped..."Yes, the preflop call was a great one knowing in advance that you'd hit a set on the flop.

I give up. If people think that i should have folded it and that i am a fish then so be it.

First hand of a $50 home tourney 30 players. Flopped top set. Guy bests I go all in. He instacalls with absolutely nothing. No bottom pair, middle pair, straight draw, flush draw NOTHING! He does however have 2 clubs and one on the board. He hits runner-runner spades and I'm out. I've never seen so many people call one person a donkey before. His explination silenced the room."Its the first hand, so the clubs stick together."
