  1. I'd probably fold if i give him the following range of hands: AsX, KsX, smallish flopped flush, set, top two.
  2. Your actions pretty much committed you to make that last call and hope he doesnt have A10. I would most likely fold the flop if my read is that the Villain is a tight player. Once you make it $155 on the turn I think you have to be prepared to call if villain pushes.
  3. Go back to playing tournaments and winning millions. Poor Shannon.
  4. I'd bet the turn. Raising the river only works if he has Q10.
  5. I guess i'm the only one who likes betting the turn.
  6. Don't change the opening bet, just increase the opening bet. Making it 15 is a quite small preflop raise in every one of the 2-5 games i've been in. Most typical raises in the games i've been in are to 25, especially if we are UTG and don't necessarily want to see a bunch of callers behind us.
  7. I definitely raise more utg. Making it $15 is a small standard raise in this game that usually won't get it done. I don't like the spot we're in though....i'd reluctantly fold it without some good reads.
  8. If anyone thinks BKice had enough EV to get $22k in a chop, they must be kidding themselves. He was the short stack at the table and had half the stack that the chipleader had. With the blinds at where they were it turns into a card catching contest that does not favor the "best" player. The deal was definitely a great one for him.
  9. Here are some answers:Hand 1 - push in preflop with your Queens and a short stackHand 2 - Lead the flop, fold to a raise
  10. You can include implied odds, I still think folding is the correct play preflop in most games. I'd rather have 87s.I actually do think its a mess. I wouldn't call preflop. I wouldn't bet the flop with so many EP players who raised/called on the previous street. If I do bet the flop and get called, I'm usually not betting on the turn. As for the river, I'd reluctantly called as played this way.
  11. I fold the first and call the second. Too bad your 9s aren't suited.
  12. This hand pretty much plays itself. Go ahead and shove the flop, no one will get each other to fold anyway.
  13. He's not smooth-calling a $6 bet on the turn with 96. Raise the river.
  14. I see 2 scenarios, and both are positive:1 - You get to hook up with this woman, until she decides she can't do it anymore. No effort, no problems, all the good stuff.2 - Somehow it becomes known what is going on. She gets fired, you get promoted. Then you can sleep with a subordinate of your own.
  15. I don't know if I should call you a big idiot or just an idiot. The odds are exactly the same before you run it twice. The odds that you will have extra outs in the 2nd run (because your opponents cards hit on the first run) and that your opponent will have extra outs on the 2nd run exactly balance each other out. Nothing changes it. He is not going to hit it twice 21.83% of the time, you cant add the first win percentages (22.73) and the second win percentages (20.93) and just divide by 2. He would win twice 4.75% of the time (you multiply the percentages).AND, i think you've been watching to
  16. push the riverrrrrrrrrrr, do itttt. He'll fold his A9.
  17. I wouldnt play 74o most of the time here. 74s has a better case.
  18. Foxwoods sounds retarded. A - A kill pot should be when the same player whens twice in a rowB - The entire deck except for the 2 burn cards should be reshuffled and dealtI don't think you can blame the dealers mistake because you lost the hand though....the odds of your opponent hitting his Q is equally likely no matter what the dealer decided to do. But his actual decision was just illogical.
  19. it's a compliment really, scrabble is difficult to fully master.
  20. So the question would then become, is a blocking defensive bet good enough? Or should we just push? It would depend on how much is in our stack and the different odds our opponent is getting. If our opponent will fold a better hand (say J 10) when we push, but will call with that hand when we just put in our defensive bet, then obviously it would be better to push. But this is dependent on some reads, and also on how well our villain will read our defensive bet. Will he raise our blockish bet enough of the time that pushing is actually better? It depends....I just saw your math post in this th
  21. That could very well be the case, but I have a pretty passive opponent and I dont think he's raising us with just overcards + flush draw on the flop. I think he'd rather call in this case and trap others along for the ride when he makes his draw. But he would probably raise the flop with A8 or a set, and I doubt he calls our bluff unless he's got the A of clubs in which cause he'd most likely raise the turn. Unfortunately....no.Results - Villain calls with 10c8x
