So My Friend Called Me Last Night From Bobby's Room In Bellagio

Recommended Posts

He said they were letting people rail in bobby's room, and that all the big names were there. He also said that Farha, David Williams and some bald guy were playing 50k/100k pot limit omaha. Any truth to this, or anymore information? I did believe the part about the pro's, but I have a hard time believing the 50/100k plo part.

Your friend is lying to you. First off, they don't let people into bobby's room unless you are playing. People can rail from the outside of bobby's room; they will escort you out if you just walk up into bobby's room. Also, the 50K or 100K you are talking about is the buy-in, not the blinds.

Okay, let me ask a question. What exactly does the Bellagio poker room look like? Are there a bunch of typical tables and all of a sudden in the corner is the Big Game? Are there certain sections to it?

I don't know about the stakes being true, but the bald guy is more than likely David Grey.

Are you sure it was your friend? Are you sure it wasn't... nothing?

It looks like a normal poker room. Bobbi's room is a separate room in the center of the poker room along the back wall. So the regular poker room kind of wraps around it. Bobbi's room is enclosed, but it's enclosed with glass so you can see into it.When I was in Vegas right before Memorial day weekend I played the 2/5 NL game right next to Bobbi's room. Saw Daniel, Jennifer, Eli, Doyle, Chip Reese, David Williams, Chau Giang, David Benjamin.

The poker room is slightly small with around 30 tables or so. Theres a general low-mid limit area right when you walk in. In the back of the room to the right of the cashier is a few steps leading up to the mid-high stakes games (where the big game used to be played). Bobbys room is very close to the low limit tables, straight down the middle of the room. You have to walk by it to get to the cashier. When i was there you couldnt even rail from outside of the room, theyd quickly ask you to move along. But a couple times i was sitting there playing 2-5 NL on the table closest to that room. And there are windows into the room so you can basically see whats goin on in there. kinda cool :club:
