Jordan 1
i remember the first few times i started playing poker.i wish i could remember this specific hand better...but we were playing live at some house and i was bet into for a large amount...and i really know I didn't know anything that much about poker at the time..but i just looked at him for a bit and decided that he was bluffing so i called purely on that. sometimes ignorance is bliss.i called and was right...and i'm pretty sure that was what got me hooked.then I did $50 deposits on absolute poker a lot and busted a lot...yep.glad that's changed. lol.- Jordan

I won like 15 bucks. I was hooked on poker ever since.I remember when I thought downswings would never happen to me. Or I can't imagine how people would be winning players but still lose money. That was a long time ago. Ignorance is blissAhh, the good ole days. When I was up 2K after 6 months of playing, thinking I was getting good at it, only to have it come down to a screeching halt another 6 mths later when I am down 800. You don't realize how bad the swings are until you play everyday (especially since I have started to play Omaha). Really brutal, but like Marion Barry at a crackhouse, poker has me coming back for more each time.
