Tiltinagain 973
I can't remember the last time I had tater tots. It's a shame really. I wish they'd give me less responsibility with the same pay. So that's what it was, right? A sort of demotion without the pay cut and a $100 gift card to sooth your wounded ego? Also, I'm with Ron.

Essay21 2,385
We had some bullshit meeting that was a total waste of time so naturally I asked a bunch of questions at the end to waste more time and so people would think I care. Gotta play the game ladies.

Sickinfo2 291
Doesn't Ron have a sports car?? Beans has to. Mexi has never owned a two seeta.... to my knowledge Wait... a z-car? Maybe he had one of those during the black school years... Hell, my head is a mite foggy from adding a couple shots tequila to each bottle of mikes lemonade since oh five hrs ago... Now im thinking no he didnt or ever has. final answer 1965 mustang convertible with the big 289.... But I is sober enough to say that you have no idea what "big" means.... The small block you mentioned has to wind up tighter than a mexican rolex on meth to keep up with the big blocks at idle And pretty sure Beans has multiple lambo's or Ferraris and corvettes? Question marks? I love the f-car three-0's.... even during their production not many have ever seen one in the wild. Nowadays ya are fortunate to witness a pic of one. If not for my favorite private investigator and his tv program I would have more folks asking what the hell I was piloting into the local grocery store But heres the deal... in all honesty they suck. Strip one down to the chassis and it appears to have been assembled from a scrap yard by high school shop students. Crappy welds, hammer marks from "adjusting" tolerances, and gobs of goo sealing up the gaps. Heater is a secondary form of winter comfort to the radiation from the engine a couple inches from your back, A/C cant overcome it in the summer and dies randomly in the process. Lift throttle oversteer is one ass puckter better than a nine thirty porsche. Not enough stock power to swing all that mass out unless the asphalt is wet, or better, icy. Electrical system is known to birth flash fires from a fusebox stolen from a covered wagon, Steering wheel and pedals are arranged for the folks in its home country of short legs and long arms, The wheel is also tilted about the same angle as a normal vehicle with the tilt mechanism in the upper most position. Forever Flawed to hell, it is. But lemme tell ya, fix the onboard fire commensing system, replace the suspension bushings with poly, throw in some good shocks, fat sticky tires at all corners, dump a few hundred pounds of fat, bump up the horses, and its probably the best driving experience youll ever have. Rude, crude, and lewd. Makes you work for everything, but the first time you succesfully squeeze off a perfect heel-n-toe downshift with a throttle blip thrown in at the apex and rotate the car through the corner and away without a noticable movement from the three spoked yoke in your white nuckled fists you can die happy. Auto speaking of course. Id like to have a countach, but I just cant seem to get into one without cramping up. At seventy four inches and size twelve and almost, I almost have to put one on like a pair of coveralls. And forget the fancy footwork noted above. The pedals are pushed far over to the side to make room for the transmission that lives between you and your passenger and the wheelwell housing the front tire. To even operate them normally I have to take my nikes off. The bull is made for high speed country crossing. Nothing else. I took one from vegas thru the valley of fire one morning with the intentions of making a day out of it crossing over above the weapons range into parumph and back via goodsprings to fifteen and back to v-town.... Ended up going halfway thru the VofF and turned back south and followed mead back to town. It was like operating a home gym around the twisties. My ass was worn out when I made it back. Sweaty, too. Helpful hint: if you dont see a large radiator opening and a huge amount of glass on a car, expect the a/c to suck. I dont think any amount of tweaking to the chassis or sub-systems could turn one of those tractor siblings into a fun corner carver. Still kinda sorta maybe one day get drunk enough want one tho Ill cover some more over the seas rigs and american irons in a bit. Heading down to the county fair in a minute to poke fun at the carnies and stare at the jailbaits they bark to... I may tweet a few pics. In fact I will. Figure three or five more of these tequiades and I may even get on a ride Hopefully that ride will just look like jailbait....
Napa Lite 3,278
But that's the biggest engine that came from the factory right? Do I need to relearn myself? Rearended a coworker leaving work today. She had started pulling out and so I was looking the other way for the all clear and started turning and hit her. Wasn't going fast so there wasn't any damage. She was more worried that I was ok than her car. Think I might buy her and her husband a gift card somewhere nice and offer to babysit the kid becauae I feel pretty terrible about it all. Ugh.

Tiltinagain 973
Speaking of Mustangs and Beans....Heh, sounds like an indian dinner....Beans, did you see the 64 1/2 convertible that Richard and his buddy Dennis bought on the ass monkey episode last night? THAT was a sweet car. Original owner, parked in 1970 with 40,000 miles and garaged ever since. Still had the original belts, hoses and everything, even the clock worked. Paid the old lady $60,000 and they had a couple of offers of $200,000 before they could get the car back to the shop. That's a mustang I'd love to own. Still think Richard was a fool to go for the quick money rather than wait for the big payday. You'd think he'd have learned from the Ferrari deal when he did the same thing and Dennis ended up cashing in.
InternetExplorer 2,609
So, thoughts on the iPad 2. I don't like the form factor as much as the nexus 7, and obviously the resolution is outdated, but it works without lag or keyboard craziness. I never noticed how frustrating the experience on the first nexus 7 had become... And it was released like a year after the iPad 2.
InternetExplorer 2,609
Could be that I habitually leave too much stuff running on the n7, which is a risk just related to letting people customize stuff. I will accept responsibility if it is my own fault.
frautotenkinder 1,025
Just had the department meeting where they announced my promotion. Well, it was more to talk about some layoffs that are happening in a different department and how we will be absorbing someone, but my promotion was also announced. That's a Winning move. There's a subconscious idea placed that your new position, with its new salary has absorbed whatever the recently laid off made. You're the power player--next step--your subordinates will automatically cover your monthly breakfast treat. I just made a very loud fart noise with my mouth as I'm apt to do when thinking and alone. However, I am not alone. I am at work. Now people probably think I just shit my pants. Oh, there goes all your power.
iZuma 764
oh I didn't get demoted or lose reaponsibility, just another layer of management over me. because that's necessary. you know, I'd like to look into smaller places for jobs (pretty much only search the big corporate places that have a jobs section on their websites) but I don't really know the best way to go about it. very few of them post to job sites like monster or indeed it seems and going through a temp company seems really risky. need to figure out how to get with an actual placement company, not a temp to hire place. how can you tell the difference? edit: but hey at least I didn't shit myself in the office
Napa Lite 3,278
Yeah, well, at least I can afford to buy new pants. If not, set up a profile with your info, resume, "accomplishments" etc.. Then you can start by searching the names of companies you're interested in. Once found there will be a list of people that follow the company and another of people that are employees. Go through the list of employees and find someone in HR, a hiring manager or the like, and ask them to connect. (like a friend request on facebook) Then send that person a message, something like "Hi John, my name is Shake. I've been doing x.y,z at xxx company for however long but I'm intrigued by working for a smaller firm where my work can have more of an impact on the overall success of the organization. If you have anything that may be a good fit now or in the future, please keep me in mind". That's basically what I did for the job I have now. The hiring manager I randomly contacted still comes up and gives me a big hug every time she see's me and loves telling the story.
iZuma 764
oh yeah, I've been meaning to update my linkedin thing. I started one then realizes I didn't know anybody so I got discouraged and didn't do anymore.
