lew189 0
that about sums it up. I'm a marginal poker player (at best) and, on top of that, I'm going to die miserable and alone. sweet. to the mods: could you guys lock this up before the flames get too bad? I'm not sure I can handle the abuse right now...

Nikki_N 17
I'm sorry for your loss. Right now you are grieving. Allow yourself to do that for a few days or so, and then start to examine why things ended the way they did. You may find it's for the best. Hang in there.

Wandigo 1
Keep you head up man. People are always in that state-of-mind after a breakup. Give it a few weeks and you 'll soon realize that you can find someone else that will make you equally (if not more) happy. Sometimes living the single life for a while will make life a lot less hard on you, too. (And you don't have to buy anyone crap and can go spend it on poker instead!) How old are you if you don't mind me asking?
RuntCake 0
Positives:-- No one griping about your online poker or in house poker habits.-- One less distraction during tournament or cash play.-- More free time to read up and tune your game.Note:DO NOT PLAY while you are angry/sad/depressed. It kills your game and you really need to get back to balanced zero before you grab a chair. Depression of any form leads to a negative attitude, which leads to a belief you will lose, that can lead you to donk off chips thinking you "deserve" to loose them or not taking the risks you need to in order to maximize your game.In all:Buck up lil' fella! Now you get to go find someone new. That, while hard, is a hell of a lot more fun than maintaining the load!PS -- Love the avatar...arse-clown!

hudday48 0
On suicide,The cons:You leave friends family and anyone who ever cared for you feeling like horrible people (there are more people who care for you then you think). You set a horrible example for anyone who looks up to you. (There are more then you think). You'll never get to experience the many joys of life again. There is a way out of depression so you can feel happy again. The pro:You don't feel your pain anymore unless you believe in an afterlife. But remember that your pain is temporary and though you may not believe it today but you will be happy again. Girlfriends are temporary and you will find someone else, trust me!!I've struggled with deppression and what stopped me from suicide was seeing my little brothers and cousins who look up to me. I STRONGLY urge you to talk to your counsellor and/or mentor and friends. If you aren't willing to talk to them then phone a suicide hotline.PLEASE GET HELP poker and girls aren't worth it!!!!!!!!! Simpleton 0
Imagine how many girls you can hook up with now. Go to a bar, get drunk and pick up a chick. If that doesn't work, read the response about your hand. Use that.
