would you lay this down?

1/2 NL in my local B & M. I am dealt J :D 2 :D in the BB. 3 limpers and I check.Flop comesQ :D 10 :) 9 :club: Beautiful flop for me. Or so I think. I lead 5 into the pot. And some guy moved all in for 32. I was faced with a big decision. I laid it down and he kindly showed me K J. But I am wondering. How many of you call in that spot?

FWIW I fold. I don't like putting it all in there on a draw (even a fantastic draw), unless I'm in a tourney and the situation dictates it. I tend to be more of a conservative player, though. And I tend to suck as a cash game player......Tell you what, just disregard this post...

I fold it.Besides the fact that your hand is not made, and while Jack high flush is pretty solid if you catch the heart, you can easily still lose to an Ace, King, or Queen high flush.Yeah sometimes you win that one, but I think more often then not, it is a pretty good way to go broke.

You're about 50% with 2 cards to come (you don't know he has KJ). Taking what's already in the pot into account, I call the all in.

1/2NL and you're leading into a the flop with $5...? WTF kind of game is this? He then moves in for $32 - I mean, most of the 1/2 gmaes I play in usually have a flop bet of around $20 or so if not more depending on preflop action. I'd call $32 in a 1/2 cash game in a heartbeat with that draw. I'm asuming this was a very weak table seeing he limped with KJ.

"I" Call it, Open ended and a flush draw with 2 to go, for $32, run it baby. This table seams soft, 32 is close to a normal preflop raise in my 1/2 nl game at the Bike. If you can't call that with that draw, stop playing!

3 limpers plus the BB, so $8. Plus you $5 bet. Not sure if it's a $27 or a $32 raise, but I'll assume $32.So your calling $32 to win $50.Or maybe $27 to win $45.Even if he has KJ (which he did...) those odds aren't that far off (if he flashed the KJ you would fold though). Combine the almost what you need odds with the cases where he KK/AA/AQ/a set/a bluff, and it's a call.

I wouldnt say that it was a soft table. I think that they play may be a lot slower than a lot of other casinos. Keep in mind though it is a buy in of 100 no more no less. This table was rather new...only been going 40 minutes or so. So no one had an abnormally large amount. As far as the 15 outs twice. Shouldnt you assumed that some of your outs are couterfited? In the case where he flashed KJ I am drawing to 3 kings and 9 hearts. 12 outs and the pot is not laying me that much.

really?? this sounds like poo poo mcmuffins to me, i've never heard of a cash table that only allows 1 exact buy in with no min-max.usually you should be able to buy in anywhere from 100 - 200 with 1/2 blinds.

Alot of hands your up against there you don't have counterfitted outs ie AQ any set over pair, stone cold bluff. I would call thinking most of my 15 outs are live....its only 32$

If this is a beautiful flop for you, and you decide to bet 5 dollars, what were you planning on doing if raised? I look at the chip stacks of those around me, if someone is going to do the short stack all in, if they do would I call after I'd bet, etc.

Foxwoods, for one. They've never allowed a larger buy in for 1/2.
