trussdude 0
The chopped salad at Waverly's Steakhouse inside the Cannery is good.Lawry's Prime Rib is good. I don't understand the waitress uniforms. They dress like Pilgrims and are all 45+http://www.lawrysonline.com/theprimerib_la...as_gen_info.aspZeffirino at Venetian is good.http://venetian.com/ZEFFIRINO.aspxThe Mexican place by the canal at the Venetian has good Margaritas and a good teguila selection.http://venetian.com/TAQUEIRA.aspxI would avoid Smith & Wollensky. We had reservations at 7:30 and were seated at 9. My wife's steak was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside. The waiter brought my salad after my meal. I told him I didn't want it and it still was on the bill.http://www.smithandwollensky.com/The lobster mashed potatoes at N9ne Steakhouse are good.http://www.n9negroup.com/#/n9ne/main/If you have a car or just want to get off the strip for breakfast, Blueberry Hill is good.http://www.blueberryhillrestaurants.com/
Nikki_N 17
Cafe BaBaReba in the Fashion Show Mall has excellent Spanish food and very tasty sangria. They have a salad with manchengo cheese and yummy crispy ham bits that was very good. Here's the menu they printed up for us for the FCPHA Vegas Union Summer 2006:The steakhouse in Binions is quite good. There is a nice view of Vegas from this top floor restaurant and it's easy to get a same day reservation. Try the lambchops or the blue cheese steak. Acid_Knight 2
Places nobody has mentioned:Olives @ Bellagio.Cannonita @ Venetian - Simple mexican food that is fairly inexpensive (for what you get) and delicious.Best sushi that I've found (off strip) -Kotta Sushi @ Sahara/Cimarron. Amazing food. Super fresh. Tons of original rolls. Friendliest staff anywhere. Very affordable.Lotus of Siam - This place is off the strip (not by much) on East Sahara and is generally regarded as one of the best Thai restaurants anywhere in the country. You wouldn't know it from looking at it and the location, but this place is absolutely amazing and is pretty packed most of the time, so make a reservation. It's also not Americanized Thai food, so bring an open mind when you go. Oh yeah, and it's really cheap.Subs - Capriottis. There are a bunch of them around the city.BBQ - Famous Dave's. Yes it's a chain, but it's still better than Memphis Championship BBQ and the other places we have here.

LJB723 0
When I was there my favourite was David Burke's restaurant in Venetian. Oustanding food, great service. Ideal if you want to celebrate a big win.Try his chocolate egg speciality desert, off the chart goodness!
Abbaddabba 0
All i can add is that Terrace Point at the wynn, and Grand Lux at venetian are both awesome 24 hour places. They're definitely the two best options for really late night eating, if you want something half decent. And im saying that about Terrace point despite the fact that the last two times i was there with a friend, i was given a fork with a clump of mystery hair, and served a bowl of soup with a fly in it. unfortunately we werent important-looking enough to get any comps. all we got was an apology from the manager guy. i think i missed a value bet or two. :icon_frown:Cheesecake factory is a great inexpensive spot with a huge menu. Huge portions... everything is pretty good, but nothing exceptional.Havent had much experience with finer dining since all of the people I've gone to vegas with are extremely un-baller.Looking forward to it this june though. Hello $100 steaks!
SpeedKills 0
When I was there in Feb we went to Trevi in the forum shops everyone said it was really good, I didnt eat much cause I was so drunk, but I still lost CC Roulette for the $300 bill.

grocery_mony 8
http://www.memphis-bbq.com/locations.htmlanother good choice. Have eaten there twice and it was real good. got the lunch that comes with 2 meats and 2 sides. The baby back ribs and brisket were awesome, I tried the sausage and didnt like it. I think its an extra buck to upgrade 1 of the sides to a baked sweet potato, deefinatly a must try.

It is the best damn BBQ you can buy in a restaurant.
myenemy 0
Slight highjack: I have a bachelor party in a month and Tao wants me to fill out a form for a reservation of 10 that includes my CC information, address and the CVV Code. That seems a bit excessive. Why the CVV Code? Cant you run my card without that? Is this normal?

trussdude 0
next place to try will most likely be Samba or Japonais both at the MirageI ate at Samba on Saturday. It was the first time for a Brazilian steak house for me. It was good. The main problem was, we weren't very hungry. We didn't make it through the first rotation of meats.
