  1. I agree with everyone else here that it is a mistake not betting this flop as well as the other hand where you had AJ. By slow playing this hand in this fashion you have no idea what villian could have if he pulls a move on you like he did on the river here. in addition you are letting draws get there for free. Checking a flop of A72 rainbow with AK has some merit however in this spot you are just asking for trouble. Thinking that because you chekced the flop villian will think " he has nothing" is just wrong on some many levels. Also betting these flops when you do have something also protect
  2. Classic post, especially since it started with ' this isn't a whine post' and ended with ' i believe online poker isn't legit'. Brilliant, just brilliant.
  3. Scheduled downtime. It usually doesnt take too long.
  4. That is not a 1 outter. He also had outs to pair his 2nd card also. He had 4 outs. Does that make you feel any better?
  5. FT will need to do alot more of this if they are to challenge Stars as the premier online site. At least we now have these guys listening to what we have to say.
  6. Move to Australia. In all seriousness though i doubt that any of you will have any problem getting your money from them as the rest of the world would surely stop using their service if we got any hint that they screwed anyone over. Im sure they will take their time however i feel your funds will be safe.
  7. All they are doing is setting it up for them to regulate and control and therefore profit from. They did the same thing with alcohol and live gambling last century and now it is online gaming's turn to be taxed.
  8. I would be shoving this flop all day however as played you have a clear fold on the turn as your equity has now evaporated and you have been priced out.
  9. I am going to go as far as to say that is you want to raise here then you have to push. The raise achieves nothing in my opinion as there is not 1 hand that ia ahead of you that will fold because it is too small. A semi bluff should be designed to fold hands that you beat as is profitable because you will have some fold equity. This raise does not fold 1 single hand that beats us and therefore achieving nothing. If the raise will not fold a hand like KQ then it is spew as far as i am concerned.
  10. Unless the stacks are 250bb++ and villian is known to be a rock who would never make this play with QQ or AK then i would never be folding KK preflop. This is an easy shobe with these stakes and even though you will be against AA some of the time, most of the time you will be against hands you have crushed. This becomes a more interesting question if you hold QQ instead of KK.
  11. Against an unknown without any reads i like just calling here. Villian will flip over AK more often that he flips over a boat however if we do raise we can't be assured that we will get paid off if we are beat on this board. The question becomes harder if he fires out 1/2 pot bet on river instead of a reasonably big bet and what to do in that spot depepnds on your instinct at the time. As played you have a clear call and i excpect you to take down this pot most of the time.
  12. We usually raise for value or raise as a bluff. What are we raising for here? It seems to me that we fold out all hands we beat and we are called by all hands that beat us. Thats not a profitable way to play poker and i believe the reason we are in this terrible spot is because of the flat call preflop which i hate with JJ OOP against 2 villians.
  13. Reraising preflop here is my standard line. The reason i like 3 getting preflop here is to avoid these situation where we have a good hand but have no idea if its good and being OOP it costs us alot to find out.As played and considering CO's stack i either fold or push based on any reads i may have and whether ot not i think he can fold KQ. I dont like these spots because you are forced to guess on a scary board OOP and to be honest this is why i hate just flat calling in the blinds with any hand. You have reduced your JJ to a hand like 44 where you can not safely continue unless you hit a set
  14. Folding the flop here would be quite bad considering we have position in the hand and can get away from any aggression cheaply. Your line is fine donk slayer although raising the flop would give you a better indication of "where your at" your logic regarding UTG's call is fine and i dont mind just calling here to see what develops. Turn fold is standard. NH.
  15. I think you play the hand fine. Donk slayer brings up a good point regarding the flop raise as it will likely put you to a tough decision if he was to push over the top of you. Rest of the hand seems pretty standard and as far as his words go, well that is nothing we can really help you with as alot of what goes into reads has to do with his body language more than his exact words so thats a decision you need to make on your own.
  16. You are drawing to 12 outs at best here making you about a 45% dog to win this pot. Mathematically it is clearly wrong to call but if you feel the gambling have a stab. Personally i fold this hand preflop when i am min reraised. There is no good flop for you except JJx as even if you flop an ace you will either get stacked by AK or AA or win nothing because villian has KK. There is no upside here and i know that it sucks to lay your hand down when min raised and i also hate doing it but calling here is clear spew.PS. I played some poker pro in Crown Casino in Melbourne and we looked at the rak
  17. If you are going to 3bet this hand preflop then you must raise alot more. Your 3 bet is so small that they both must call and you are stuck playing a big pot with a mid pair against 2 villians which sucks. A preflop raise to 850 is much better and if it doesnt give you the pot outright preflop then at least it will get the pot HU for you with position. Your raise as far as i am concerned hurts you more than it helps you.As played there is no need to overbet with the like this . You will only be called when you are way behind. Bet 1050 or so on the flop and know that if called you are way behin
  18. No brainer call. You have a good chance of getting alot of chips if you win this pot which will give you the best chance of winning the event. Folding here and trying to do something with your stack when guys are open raising to to 300 just doesnt make sense to me.
  19. The pot is actually 4 way.Being the preflop aggressor and OOP here you must fire hard into this pot and of course call a push. The pot is so big right now that you have no choice but to go broke against a set or KK and AA. Checking is not an option because there is surely alot of overcards between the villians and there is really no safe turn card for your QQ. With 100b effective stacks here i am glad to bet 22 on the flop and call any push.
  20. I am with MightLouse on this 1. Checking the turn is pretty bad here and is leaving alot of value on the table. the fact that you have a lock hand on the turn does not mean you should check to let them ctach up. If they want to catch up they are prepared to pay for it so you should charge them. Also is creates a bigger pot so that you can get your stack in on the river without over betting the pot.
  21. Your opponents may be happy to draw to their hands because they know you will pay them off when the hit. If you are certain you are beat then calling river value raises is terrible and makes you the value in the game.Calling river raises with one pair type hands is an express route to being bust. If you must bet the river with a 1 pair type hand then you can fold to any small raise safe in the knowledge that your hand is no good. Even if the pot is laying you 5-1 if villian is only bluffing 1 in 10 times then you are making a big mistake by calling. This is all pretty standard and i agree with
  22. Bet more on the flop. If he calls your bet then he also calls a 2/3 pot bet. you want to price draws out and your bet actually prices them in. Also you want to win as much money from lower sets on 2 pair type hands. the board is draw heavy and you must force villian into making a mistake.Never check this turn. As the above poster mentioned, if he is drawing he will call a reasonable bet and you also want to play a bet pot against a small boat or a straight. You have a big hand so build a pot big. Bet 1/2 the pot and let diamonds pay for a draw while they are drawing dead.As played raise river
