The turn is the 4 and Alvarado bets $120,000. Tran raises to $240,000 and Alvarado moves all in. Tran thinks for a few minutes before mucking his hand.
Sweet :)That's twice in a short perios these two have went deep in the same WPT event.

Ok, I asked this on his royal hold em' rant post earlier today, got no legit answer..I'll do it again.How in the hell did he go from being pissed about 80 bucks to playing in 5k events in just less than 2 years???Did he win a big tourney that catapulted him up there or did he just grind it out?
Nobody ever remembers, but he final tabled a WSOP NLHE tourney last year. It just wasn't on TV. He's been really good for a while now.Mark

I agree with Hoosier that it looks so much like a set to risk it all there, but who knows. I was thinking AA KK, probably had QJ (js).

Tran better watch out here, he's prolly tilting..He could very well be the next one out..I think JC has punched his ticket to the FT...

WPT blog said Tran went into the tank before mucking. Any chance he folded AK here?

I say he had 66 as well.Really curious what Tran had as well to put in over half his chips in the pot and be able to lay it down. AJ/AQ?getting a little more serious for the short stacks ...The players returned from their break to blinds at 8k-16k and a 2k ante.
