Jordan 1
LOL, obviously not. I do think those of you that play HU think 6m players are crazy for ever folding though.well in your specific hand i dont see why he can't be shoving Kx for value unless he knows that you're never betting KT or w/e tight range he is assigning you...idk, even i were you i wouldn't really want to fold unless this guy knew you really well and never thinks youre bluffing there, or never bet/folding your value range. meaning he always expects you to call so your betting range is actually that narrow to Kx's and small boats.so that's the only way i'd ever fold if i were you in that spot. i think Kx can shove there for value if he thinks he has induced, or you were vbetting JJ+ or something on the riv, which to me doesn't seem bad at all. RDog 0
well in your specific hand i dont see why he can't be shoving Kx for value unless he knows that you're never betting KT or w/e tight range he is assigning you...idk, even i were you i wouldn't really want to fold unless this guy knew you really well and never thinks youre bluffing there, or never bet/folding your value range. meaning he always expects you to call so your betting range is actually that narrow to Kx's and small boats.so that's the only way i'd ever fold if i were you in that spot. i think Kx can shove there for value if he thinks he has induced, or you were vbetting JJ+ or something on the riv, which to me doesn't seem bad at all.I think this might be where HU, 6m is vastly different. Going for 3 streets of value on that board with AA, QQ against an ultra nit I think is actually pretty bad. I mean, HU, it might be fine but I don't think there are a lot of 6m players not checking the turn or the river here with AA for example. I guess occasionally I could be triple barreling this board (although I would never do it against this type of Villain) but he is only shoving against my value range. And my value range on that board has KQ crushed (and other than occasionally AK that is the only Kx non boat hand possibly in his range). Which is why I don't think he is (and definitely should not be) shoving KQ. He gets me to fold my air and everything he beats and gets called by ONLY things he loses to. So shoving KQ seems pretty bad to me. I'm never betting KT on the river cause his hand looks so much like KQ.Edit: FWIW, KT isn't in my range either. So if he is valueshoving KQ he is valueshoving against exactly 0 Kings in my range other than a chop.

RDog 0
Does this villain know what your range is?Meh, I mean, he knows that I am relatively tight. I have been like 22/19 or whatever since the beginning of time. Even if he thinks KT happens to be in my range, he for sure is never expecting me to show up with K9. So he is value shoving KQ against 1 hand and getting value owned by 5 or 6 hands that are all in my range.

gilbertology 0
Weird hand rdog. Any more info/history on villain? In general I don't see him flatting jacks preflop but I agree you are beat here almost always by 77 or possibly KJ/JJ.With all that being said, I need to get better at bet/folding a strong hand when I know I'm beat. I prolly would've played it like you, but timebank called the river just to see his cards.

I prolly would've played it like you, but timebank called the river just to see his cards. Not really. He is just one of those huge nits pre and post that you never notice. And one of the problems with mass tabling is the notes you put on people are never going to be too specific. Just weird things you see people do. Don't know exactly what my notes are on him. I would have looked if I didn't have like 10 seconds timebank on a fast table with 6 other tables popping up. Doubt it would have been anything that would have helped since I tend to not take very many notes on people that don't cause me any problems.Edit: I will admit that probably too often I expect people to be decent when they put a lot of money in the pot in spots like this. I mean, I think shoving KQ there is horrid and I will stand by that 100%. It is possible that I get owned in spots like this sometimes because people are actually worse than I expect them to be. RDog 0
Also, I'm sure all of you will think I am crazier than you already do but once the J hits the river I think KQ is probably a fold for Villain.
Jordan 1
yea well...im not saying it's like a god awful fold...i understand why you did what you did and why you do what you do...idk, this hand is kinda/sorta like folding KK pre. You should almost never do it, ever...yet that 1/1000000 time you do it's prob ok and not the end of the world.maybe that's dumb logic but w/e....i'm not personally worried bout it cuz im a fish and stack off too light anyways :)im going to bed now. would be up all night w/ ya'll but i have to go to my internship early 2mrw which really sux cuz i wanna play.just a few months to go till i can focus entirely on poker tho...
