SweetDaddyFreak 0
Tomorrow, November 7th is my 18th birthday. Legal age to play poker in Florida is 18. Right after school I'm heading to the Seminole casino to play all night. I've snuck into the casino about 10 times, but havent been in over a year. The games suck, $2 max bet, but its a easily beatable game and I don't have to worry about getting another high school job. They have a live tourney at 7PM with a $100 buy-in which i'll play in. I'm excited for live play, as I've been playing online for over 3 years now. Also I'm creating new accounts on almost all sites that allow 18 year olds. Stars for sure, UB maybe and we'll see what else. I need a new name for a handle. If anyone could be of some help and help me come out with one. I plan on becoming ranked in a few years and want a good name. My suggestions are something to do with the greek alphabet, like Omega, Epsilon or a cool philosopher name, like Copernicus. If I pick a name you suggested I'll send you $20 on Stars or give you my signature space for a week, whatever you prefer. And obviously the greatest day will be 21, which will be in VegasAny suggestions, comments, hints for live play or a new name?Lottery, cigars, poker, strip clubs...the world is mine

And the tourneys are crapshoots. The blind structure and levels are designed to get the tourney over as fast as possible.happy b-day.

Most fathers wouldn't want their child around a bunch of degenerate gamblers who masterbate to child pornography half the time. The other half it's gay porn.

mrdannyg 274
i dunno about the name, but be very careful about signing up second accounts. if you're going to be moving soon, its worth it to not sign up until you've moved. could save you LOTS of headaches in the future.also, make sure all banking/neteller, etc information is completely separated.good luck

GrinderMJ 0
As long as all your current accounts are in your dad's name all you need to do is put your name on all your new accounts. Just get your own bank account and neteller and you will be alright. I had to do the same thing earlier this year

Happy b-day.Second of all. Before you start your poker life, I'd suggest you actually start your "real" life first. I am not trying to be harsh, just realistic. There are 18 year olds with the maturity and experience levels to "make it" playing poker. But they are the exception, not the norm. Winning Poker isn't just about going to a casino and out playing some other dude. You need poker experience, sure, but you also need mathematic ability, social skills, perhaps even a personal philosophy and awareness.Regarding your name.Hermes the PillarHermes is a pretty good name for a poker player...Hermes, in Greek mythology, is the Olympian god of boundaries and of the travellers who cross them, of shepherds and cowherds, of orators and wit, of literature and poets, of athletics, of weights and measures and invention and commerce in general, and of the cunning of thieves and liars. The Homeric hymn to Hermes invokes him as the one"of many shifts, blandly cunning, a robber, a cattle driver, a bringer of dreams, a watcher by night, a thief at the gates, one who was soon to show forth wonderful deeds among the deathless gods."The name Hermes has been thought to be derived from the Greek word herma, which denotes a square or rectangular pillar with the head of Hermes (usually with a beard) adorning the top of the pillar... From the subsequent association of these cairns — which were used in Athens to ward off evil and also as road and boundary markers all over Greece — Hermes acquired patronage over land travel. Hermes was a messanger for Zeus. The reason for this was not only was he the fastest god but he was also loyal to his father, Zeus
