Who Here Has A Problem Going To Bed Early And Has A Hard Time Waking Up?

My girlfriend usually works til like 1am and doesnt sleep til like 5. She'll get up at like 2, while I get up at 8am to feed the baby. Kinda makes me miss the college days of sleeping til I had to piss some of the 18 pack from the night before and go to breakfast. Alarm clocks and full time jobs suck, I should have been like Van Wilder. GOOD NIGHT now.

Same problem here. I've been pretty much veggin out though lately not doing anything. I think it's important to excercise during the day in order to sleep soundly at night or else you tend to feel groggy in the morning as opposed to well rested.Monday I'm starting a men's health abs diet, and will be working out etc, I'll let you know if it helps at all.It sucks always feeling tired except at 11-1am.I think the worst part is effing family guy on cartoon network at 3am, it basically forces me to stay up till 3:30.

I have the same problem as well, and its the NFL season that is getting me to try to get a normal sleep schedule... stupid games starting at 10 am on the west coast. I can live with getting no sleep for school, but I need to be rested up for my Bills games, damnit!

This tread is the complete story of my life. I try to force myself to pass out early, but it's never going to happen.It's especially true when trying to wake up for those NFL games....I go back and forth on whether this is a good or bad sign.Edit: Oh but I do coke...and by coke I mean O8

:club: well i sleep any time between 7 10 am and wake up around 3 4 sometimes 5 and i go to the casino about 5 times a week if not on there im at friends playing 360 or poker i have never had a job and it has basicly been like this since i was 17 minus casino i am now 22 my life is make money get btches get money get btchs and poker less of the btches latley due to a few xtra pounds lol damn poker :D

Perhaps you should consider taking a class in punctuation and sentence structure?

Even when I do go to bed early I have a hard time getting up, so I can feel your pain. I went to be at like 9 last night hoping to get up at like 4:30 today and get some studying done. Well, it's 7 now, so that didn't work out so well.

This is something I've been struggling with too, I have wanted to start waking up early to work out in the mornings countless times but I can't go to sleep before midnight usually. Maybe alternating days would work...

Yah, maybe your right Cobalt. But when you can't sleep, it's time to spend time in general. It's better than playing poker tired.

When I have a problem going to sleep and I have to be up early I smoke weed that takes away the energy you have, then you are ready for a good night sleep.

i had that prob for the past 3 months, so i started drinking less coffee during the day, adn exercising more and its works.sometimes i'll have one beer before bed and that helps toothe weed could help, but if you smoke and dont fall asleep w/in an hour of smoking....you'll be up for a long time

I've found that I need 6+ hours of sleep each night to function. Committing to sleep is the hardest thing for me. I can always be distracted by a book or article or obscure movie on TV instead of going to sleep... On a related but random sidenote, if there is anyone in the Chicagoland area who has an aberrant sleep schedule I've got a +EV situation for you. A research group at Northwestern Memorial Hospital will pay you $1300 for staying awake for 28 hours. I guarantee almost anyone on this board has done that at least once. It's pretty interesting so see how you score on the neurological tests (reaction time, mathematical analysis, memory, concentration, etc) after an extended period of sleep deprivation. I did it earlier this summer; it's very easy and good money. If you want more info PM me...
