You want a large enough boinkroll to handle probable swings in variance. The bigger your boinkroll as compared to your stakes, the safer you are from going broke. I would recommend at least 300 big bets.

How much you have on the table in relation to the other players in a limit game is irrealavant, as long as you have enough to play a pot that is capped on every street.
