I'm a blogger, so i'm required by several state and federal laws to say 72 offsuit.... THE HAMMER!!!Show the hammer after bluffing (or as we say, 'bring the hammer down'), and put your opponent on tilt. *Win* with the hammer, and watch people throw chairs. If you're into the psychological part of poker, 72o can be one of your most powerful tools.other than that, my own personal favorite is red 10's, mostly because of a few memorable hands where it won me some gargantuan pots.-PokerGeek

Suited connectors and suited gap connectors in a loose game. Things like 53s and 64s. Talk about a stealth hand. You should see how many bets KK will put in with a 785 flop, or a 64x flop. :D Ultimate stealth hand if the flops are cheap and the implied odds are good. Plus, you should see how irate the loser gets when you make a low boat and turn over 64. Heh heh. I LOVE the reaction I get when I nail that one.Absolutely hate KXs. Well, I do now anyway. In one session early this week, I made K high flush 4 times, and went down to the suited Ace three times, and a boat the other. :) I know it's not the nut flush, but you dont expect to see a suited Ace everytime you make your K flush. Any small pair, i.e. 22 through 77... I especially like to play these in raised pots. Nine out of ten times I will have to fold this hand after the flop but when I hit my set I can break someone. This only applies to NL games of course.

6 :D 9 :) I'm in my first big tournament a few weeks ago. I'm getting shortstacked and we're down to 18 players. First place pays $60,000. I'm in the blind and I've just been doing horrible all day. I'm dealt 6,9 diamonds and I haven't played a hand in a half hour or longer. One caller, I raise three times the blind and get called. Flop comes Ace, rag, rag. Good I can steal, now or never. I'm all-in. The guy says "I have to call," and turns over the exact hand I was trying to represent. A,10, "^%^&*"Turn comes 6 and the river brings me a sweet sweet 9. Didn't win but that pot let me finish 13th and take home $1800

my top hands:AA - i see this hand so rarely in live games, and its only lost 1 time in a live game to meJJ - laugh it up, JJ is good to raise preflop and if the flop comes scary, theres no worry about throwing it away99 - gRETZKY, always push with it when I'm short stack10J - suited, the hand has a lot of potential and easy to get away from67suited - my favorite suited connectormy bad hands:KK - used to love this hand, seems like every time I get it, I lose to 2 pair or an A hits the boardQQ - the b!tches hardly ever win me money, unless I raise the pot with a few callers and the flop is dead and I move all-inAJ - every time I put my chips in with this hand, someone has AQ or AK
