Just wondering, what is everyone's favorite hand? I mean, not 'best hand in the pocket', but you most favorite hand that you prefer to play. I will be the first to say that 2 6 is my favorite hand in poker.

The worst hand, I yet continue to still play and it screws me over unless I overaggress on the pre-flop with is A Q unsuited. That hand, I swear, is a killer. I have ran into A's with it, someone has pulled a set with A Q 5 on the board before, 3 5's, So I hardly play the hand. God I hate that wh***.

This isn't my favorite hand, but a friend of mine, Al. He's a very good no-limit cash game player, and his absolute favorite hand is J-7. He plays it like it's KK preflop. One day, ol' Al is going to write a book called "The many strengths of J7." The thing about J-7 is, you've GOT to raise it preflop, because J-7 can't beat rags. J-7 can only beat AA, KK, QQ, AK, and the like. True story, that I personally witnessed at a $2-$5 no limit cash game in Atlanta a few months ago.Al raises to 25 under the gun with J-7, QQ makes it 75, AA "just calls" the 75, AK just calls the 75 also (suspect play). Now for all that action, Al knows he's isolated down to the hands J-7 already has beat, AA, KK, QQ, or AK, so of course he goes all-in for his 450 total. QQ, AA, and AK all call. First card off was a jack, last card off was a 7, and Al won about 1200 dollars in that one pot. The funniest part was the guy with QQ was the maddest, and he was already behind.I kid you not, about 3 months ago, Al got J7 of spades tattooed on his shoulder. It's hilarious.

im a big fan of the middle suited connectors7,8 suited being my favorite, used to be 10,9 suited, 8,9 suited is my least favorite of the 3sumhow i like all three of those better than J 10 suited ( not one of my favs)i also like medium low suited one card gaps, examples - 5,7 4,6 2,5if its not suited, im tossin iti dont play these hands reguarly, mostly favor them in the blinds and in drawing positions with pot odds being favorable, and when i know i can outplay my opponent

For whatever reason, my friend plays 52o the same way as he would play Aces. Somehow he crushes with it, don't ask me how.Not a specific hand really, but I'm partial to Ax suited. Potential to draw to what will usually be the nuts (Though the implied value when it hits two pair may actually be higher), and I feel as though I'm good enough to be able to get away from it if X is a rag and I hit the Ace but not much else. Also, I :D Big Slick, though surprisingly (Given the micro-limits I play), I seem to win as much with it by just being relentlessly aggressive regardless of whether I hit anything, as opposed to actually being helped by the board.

like I said my fav hand is 9 10 suitedHowever, About a year ago my friends and I were playing .25/.50 no limit. We had multiple tabels going as we had about 25 people, I was up from my original buy-in of 20 to around 100 dollars. So I pick up a 7 :D 4 :) and raise it to 3 dollars. I had a friend sitting behind that had already went broke and I showed him my cards. I got a few callers and I flopped 2 pair 7s and 4s. turn was a 7. I won the pot and when I showed my cards everyone was like WTF 7-4??? My friend and I were laughing our a.sses off. My name is Doug but most of my friends call me Dougie and Dougie Fresh. So ever since then my friends call the 7-4 the "fresh". Its just as common in our game as Big Slick is to AK.

Live= J8 (even better if its of hearts)Online= JJ (even better if it is suited)If im playin a low limit (3-6) game at my local casino here in Minnesota im not at all afraid to cap it with J8 from any position. Call it whatever but ive hit so many winners with it that its unbelieveable.PS- sometimes 3-6 is the highest game going at the casino (only got six tables)

T7 offsuit.Daniel's favorite hand. Why? It was the hand that changed my game. I was an ultra-tight player, with no imagination. Reading me was like having one of those huge lettered books for the elderly loosing their vision. Then I read an article by Daniel in which he mentioned T7 being his favorite hand. I thought, "this guy is a pro and his favorite hand is a crap hand?" I read some more articles, and began to see a different way of playing poker. Then one day I looked down to see T7 and played it like AA. Granted, I ended up making a monster hand, but simply raising with a hand like that was a huge step for me at the time. I owe a great deal to T7.
