I see where your coming from, and giving the choice give me a royal on video poker or Pai Gow...hell just give me a royal on anything, it just looks so pretty By the way, have you ever got one??? Got knocked out of a final table (was shortstacked) on UB, went to play limit, and hit it. Made more money than if I'd finished 3rd in tourny. Went back and thanked the guy that knocked me out. Only one has been a two card-er.If i played the high-hand jackpot tables, THEN i'd be a bit more excited. Otherwise it doesnt really make me any happier than flopping a full house, for instance. I had AQspades...flop came Jspade, 10spade, Kheart. So I flop the nut straight....turn comes Jheart, pairing the board and making me a bit nervous. River brings the Kspade, double pairing the board...I was furious, thinking that I made my Ahigh flush, but with the board double paired it's no good. Guy bets about $150 into the pot of around $140...for some drunken reason I....wait for it....CALL! No raise, just a call. Sure enough, he had KJ for kings full of jacks, I got pissed for a second thinking I lost, then the pot heads my way. Needless to say, the chat blew up immediatly. We all got a good kick out of it. The guy who lost the hand had another $180 or so in his stack and was kind enough to tell me he would have paid me off with every last dime. Even I was laughing my *** off...I logged off, and haven't played drunk again. A lesson learned I suppose. Link to post Share on other sites

grgimpy 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 i got my first ever royal flush playing 2/4 holdem on full tilt a few weeks ago, after playing for a couple years now regularly. i flopped the nut flush and completed my royal on the river. right after i bet on the river the table freezes. i'm playing 4 tables, and this is the only one that freezes for some reason. my computer didn't have a hand history and i couldn't tell if i got paid off or what. i was very worried that my opponent may have raised me and then i timed out if that is possible. but i e-mailed support and got the hand history to confirm that the guy had called with a straight. my 2nd royal came a couple days later in a tournament when i flopped it with the KQ of spades.
