ShakeZuma 585
talk me out of buying this pleasesure, as long as you talk me out of buying these. hey at least my dumbass purchases are moderately functional and might possibly get me laid. GET A REAL HOBBY YOU PIECE OF SHIT.Based on my math you'd have to work almost a week to afford that. I'm guessing your counterpart in 75 A.D. only had to work two days He also probably traded that coin for a whole bushel of oranges, two six packs of beer, the 1st century version of Starcraft, etcI bet this is surprisingly accurate. and now I'm imaging a strat in olden days, probably working as a shoe cobbler, bitching about customers and how ceaser is an idiot. he's also wearing a toga of course.Hey strategy, this just gave me a great idea. You should move to the loop in Chi-town and become some sort of trader. I think you would like that.haha. never gets old.
strategy 4
that is sick. how did you find the opening? yeah that coin has been listed for forever. but I have more than enough money to buy a car and move to chi if I had to do it tomorrow. I'm definitely not buying it, or doing any of those things, though.maybe my process was wrong this whole time. I changed it up quite a bit from start to finish, but in the end I never felt like reworking the wording in a cover letter was capable of overriding all the shitty aspects of my resume. I applied to a bunch of places maybe 4 or 5 months ago (wolf, peak6, et al) and never heard back from any of them, which did not surprise me at all. and I mean, it's intuitive that it would be this way. job sites are already a very noisy channel and literally everyone wants to be a trader. I'm really impressed that zim pulled it off.

Roll the Bones 74
Agreed. I like Leonard Cohen a lot, and I realize he wrote it and performed it first and blah blah blah, but Buckley's version has almost nothing in common with Cohen's. It's not a cover, it's a whole different piece of music with the same lyrics*, and there's nothing he didn't improve on in the source material imo. Which is ironic because I love tons of other Cohen, and I cannot get into any other Buckley despite trying - Hallelujah is just a perfect storm.*song has an even better shot at best lyrics of all-time, imo.Cohen was more of a poet and sort of hanger on in the hippie generation who eventually got some people to sing his songs and give him creedence, so I count Buckley's version in the all time category, even if it was a cover. All Around the Watchtower by Hendrix could be in that category as well if we're including covers. talk me out of buying this pleaseNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tried PM'ing but it's disabled.MK, I'm moving to Chicago on Friday starting up a job as an options trader in the West Loop. SuitedAces21 2,721
did i tell you guys that someone broke into my car? well i dont know if broke in is the operative term considering i left the doors unlocked. but anyways, someone rifled through my car in the middle of the night. but they didnt take anything. i have no money or anything of value in there. it appeared as if this person looked over my cd's but didnt take any. weird because i had all three arcade fire albums in there and in rainbows. his loss i guess. ShakeZuma 585
wish the bastard that did the same to my truck a year or so ago had looked through the cds first. shit still pisses me off.also, I'm very serious in that I got botox today. cost $250 for the treatment, but that's just the application. the actual stuff was like $900, but the first application is free or some shit. it's weird.I'll explain more later, I just want brv to stew on it a little more. InternetExplorer 2,609
says the dude that could get Strategy his dream job....mike's not holding out on me or anything silly. he's just not in a situation that would allow it.zimmer got back to me midday (ie when he woke up! ahahaha poker player!) with a very nice email. he did say I need to take some interest in finance to be able to interview well. he said his brother (already an employee there) helped him get the job, so I mean... yeah. more evidence to support what I've maintained all along.all kidding aside, I can't think of someone more deserving of getting that shot. he'll do great things.
