and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

according to wikipedia I am retarded for paying anything into FICA as long as I'm full-time at KU. the more you know.
To be fair, I don't think you can trust the legitimacy of a wikipedia entry that states the bolded.

I ended up paying $3700 federal and got $500 back from state (altho from what my accountant told me I might be waiting a long time to see my refund from the state).

Find an empty spray bottle (Windex is my favorite.... I poured out half a bottle in a glass in a emergency once and almost poisoned Zach. He thought it was KoolAid) and fill up with water. Add a few squirts of Dawn dishwashing detergent. Air up the tire and spray the mix around the tire and rim bead to find small leaks. In your case its either a big hole or the bead has separated from the rimSmall holes can be fixed with a plug kit, larger ones need a patch inside, requiring the tire removed from the rim. Removing/replacing the tire is a major pain in the ass without a dismount machineNever use that Fixaflat shit, it rusts the rim away in short order on lawn mowers. I put Green Slime in all my off road tires like lawn mowers and four wheelers.... it seals almost any puncture but prepare to get cussed when some poor tire "technician" breaks it downLook on the side of the tire and check if its a tube or tubeless tire, you can only use the plug kits on the tubeless type
ah ok, I guess I should bring it out this afternoon, or tomorrow afternoon since it looks like it's gonna rain, and give it an ole look see (looksie? what the hell is that word and/or phrase?). I've already got to fix the door on saturday, and it takes so damn long to cut my grass, that I'm gonna need a head start if I actually want to get it cut this weekend. god I hate grass.
If you ever need a new lawnmower tire or anything just say so and Ill ship you one
haha.
No. It's actually illegal.
huh. well there you go. it did sound a bit off. love my job.

That's borderline retarded.

608124.jpgHow about a nice pair of presidential "Broadstreets" by Allen-Edmonds. In my mind, you would tear up a room in these suckers.
I have a pair of golf shoes like that.
Yes I am making a new post instead of adding onto the one above this though hopefully by the time I finish typing this someone will post and not make me look like a post count whore. So you financial fags in here, my wife is really pushing me about us opening an etrade/scottrade/whatevertrade account and jump into the action and see if we can't get lucky. I am gay and know nothing of stocks. Anyone of you in here want to either give me good advice or point me to a place where I can learn more or get said advice. You will get .0000000001% of my first year earnings.**or if I lose you have to pay 100% of my losses. By pming me or quoting this you agree to this deal.
1. Can you afford to lose everything you plan to invest?2. Do you have 6-12 months of living expenses in liquid cash?3. Buy mutual funds, not individual stocks unless you have >1MM4. Can you do it within a 401K? investing for dummies book

d - get yourself a good suit. a man needs a suit. $300-400 will be just about right for something nice but not super high end.s - hoping to get lucky is probably not the best mentality to have as an investor. (hopefully you're detecting my sarcasm.) like, yeah, buy and hold is basically a myth ever since the 60s but i do think a buy and hold out of these levels will be fine long-term. do some homework, read any of the billion books on investing, and take your time getting into a few stocks. we won't see a broad rally really start until late this year or early next. fundamentals are still atrocious. i personally own no stock except gs which i bought the entire way down and will hold to infinity. i will start leaning into some other things late this year or as i see the data start to turn. commodities and corporate debt are the two places i'd have money if i needed to put it somewhere right now but i'm just sitting on my hands.

Hopefully this doesn't catch on. That's the only 'cuss word' I say in my normal life and these retarded kids might force me to give it up.

It's awful when you have a great year followed by a terrible year.I still do my own taxes, but I usually put it off as long as possible, since it's so complicated.... what with the DQ and rental properties.

Pretty sure that exemption is if you're employed at KU while attending KU. McDonald's doesn't count.

Remind me on October 14th when I file, I'll let you know then.

Agree here 100% although I think if you can pick and choose the right companies, some stock have tremendous upside, especially in the financial and insurance sector. It will be a case of who makes it out the least scathed. They will be the winners. But debt got us into it, and it will lead us out.

Cindy's right. You don't get a FICA exemption for having a job while going to school, so no worries; you're not retarded for this particular reason. My taxes are going to be fun this year. My boss doesn't withhold, and I think my taxable earnings (read: not under the table) are going to be about 15K. I'll be writing some checks to the government. They won't be big, but it's the principle of the thing.

I've always assumed that the cardroom you managed was completely underground and illegal. This was an incorrect assumption?Cardrooms are not legal here.

Indeed incorrect. I work at a charity casino, governed and regulated by the state lottery commission. There are all sorts of really silly rules we have to follow, so my job is mostly trying to figure out ways to make the playing experience as true as possible, while still following the letter of the state-written laws. And dealing with bureaucrats. And walking super churchy (or templey) 45 year old women through their responsibilities while they have a license. You should see Ethel try to keep up while we run a 120-person rebuy tournament. "Sorry, Ethel, but I can't touch the fucking money, so get your geriatric ass UP when you hear the players shout."You would be amazed at how difficult it is for people to use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of chips/cash. There's only one counter where you can sell/buy chips; how on Earth do you end up $1,100 off on your count at the end of the night? There are 3 piles. "Redeemed chips," "Unsold chips," and "raked chips." It's pretty simple to figure out which chips go where. The other day, I was showing a woman how to handle the blackjack table. We sent like 500 to the table, fronted by the charity. At the end of the night, we had like 750 we brought back. "So how much did we win?" You... you're employed. You have a real job. You can't figure that out? /SteveBriand

I love when people in class come in and talk about what they learned on wiki and the teacher just shakes her head and says that you should never trust everything you read on wiki. And then a fight ensues.
1. Can you afford to lose everything you plan to invest? Yes, we would not invest a lot. We have about $10K saved and wanted to take $500 and play around with some longterm stuff. 2. Do you have 6-12 months of living expenses in liquid cash? No but I don't think investing $500 would kill us, hell i just bought a new guitar last week and it hasn't effected anthing.3. Buy mutual funds, not individual stocks unless you have >1MM huh? 4. Can you do it within a 401K? Yeah we both have TIAA-CREF 401(k)'s though mine has not been getting any money since I no longer work at the place I got it from but she still does and they are doing fine) investing for dummies book

I don't know if luck is necessarily what we want to do but her thing is that things are so low that buying 50 shares here and there and sitting long term might make us some extra $. And if not, losing 50 shares of a 1.25 stock or 25 shares of a 3.25 stock is not going to hurt us, it means we don't go out to eat at a nice restaurant that week. But we have some extra cash and thought it might be stupid not to get in while things are so low.

This is my favorite picture from Honduras...
That girl was cool as shit...and, though it might be shocking based on that picture, pretty hot.
So Ron McMexico = speedzgaylover?
It took you more than 2 seconds after reading the first Ron McMexico post to figure that out?

It seemed unfair to call someone out for being equally crappy after just one post.
