pwoblo 0
If you are set with rent, bills, etc. Then I would go in this order:1. be willing to drop 100-200 dollars on weekend nights.2. New monitor/cheap video card to multi table. Dell 2001FP.3. New TV +35in and all the things that u need for it(DVD player, maybe surround sound).4. new couch5. all sorts of little digital doohickeys like blackberries, cameras, ipods. JBradburn6 0
I really don't know. I blame the bartenders for overserving me, causing me to buy even more drinks for girls I won't get with and then buying burritos.

j2k99 0
To those of you who play poker, but don't necessarily use the money for rent/food etc, what kind of stuff have you been buying with your winnings? Â I'm just curious as I've got some money now that's burning a hole in my pocket, but I can't figure what kind of cool stuff I want to buy with it. Â Any suggestions/descriptions of your latest purchases would be welcomed.~MattPM me and I'll give you my bank account info.
JoeWalsh 0
I've been living off my winnings, including the $5,500 cruise I won and had to sell since October, rent, life and girlfriend etc...I'm not really happy about if because I'm always thinking, what if I got a job, what could I have bought etc. The truth is I prob wouldn't have won as much if I hadn't kept the BR so tight and been seeking work everyday. Its either going to end with me going broke, getting a job or actually trying to build a big enough roll to play this game seriously. Believe it or not, I would rather work and use the winnings to go on an amazing extended holiday with girlfriend. Here's to dreams...
thehidden 0
Dead hookers and Blow...dead hookers don't move...When i was a winning player (oh edmonton how i miss ye) my first two big wins i bought a surround sound theatre system, then i got a nice pair of oakley splices and a digital camera, then i actually started using it for good, like debt paying. But alas being back in toronto, the closest casino is 1.5 hrs away so it doens't make for good drop of the hat poker playing...and i just plain suck online!!me
checkymcfold 0
if you want to stick with poker, i'd recommend putting away somewhere between 35-50% for moving up in limits. assuming you stay ahead of the playing curve, that money will give you a better return than any investment you might make with it, at least for the first bunch of levels.beyond that, buy whatever you want. i've bought my parents a deck, took my family to europe, sent my senile grandparents who are enamored by bright lights to vegas, bought a car, a stereo, tv, 2 computers, a fully-stocked top shelf bar, enough drugs to keep me "medicated" any time i want, and a shitload of books. but i do put 40% of my winnings back into bankroll, to eat the downswings without a problem and to move up in limits. omahahilo 0
Hooker, or should I say "escort", no (sw) with this answer, 1 time only, in Vegas, I won big at Craps, I was playing poker too, but not having a great session. Â So to Craps I went, I hit everything I was playing the hard ways for $25 each and some guy would roll 2 or 3 of them each turn. Â I had a great night. Â We called one of those numbers on the cards they hand out. Â She was pretty cute, young, I actually asked her for ID for her age. Â Very nice time, I would recommend it. reyho 0
I have spent my poker earnings on furniture and an LCD t.v. that the wife really wanted. She is planning on doing some home renovations with more of my poker earnings. Why do I let her spend my poker earnings on the house and the things she really wants? Simple, it allows us to have a more comfortable home. Also she asks me when I am going to play online so that she can be out of the way. Priceless.

jarvis5150 0
Although poker winnings didn't go toward the down payment on the house, in 2005 poker paid for a new furnace, lawn mower and gas grill. And one nice outing a someone's home game paid for a weekend in NYC for my anniversary.
