Franky Bones 0
I am playing in a tourney right now and just went all-in with rockets. The other guy calls my 13 grand with aces himself. First time I have seen aces vs aces...What are the odds on this?
gadjet 11
I saw a no limit game where two players pushed pre-flop with AA for $600 and one of them hit runner runner flush... now that would be painful...
NicksDad1970 0
Odds aren't near as high but in the WSOP last year two of the guys on 7 stud had AAx.... Yesterday I split a pot with a guy when we both had 77.
Magnum666 0
in a 10 handed game i came up with about 1 in 30,000. my math could be off a bit though...
akoff 0
I have lost 3 times with AA vs KK in the last month. The last time was in 5/10 NLHM. I got allin for $682.00 preflop. Running spades flushed my two RED aces.Thats poker.
Azzy666 0
Crazy! The odds of having aces are about 1/225.The odds of another specific person having aces are 1/50 * 1/50 = 1/2500.So, if you're at a 9-person table, the odds of any other player having aces are 1/2500 * 7 = 7/2500.Thus, the odds of someone else having aces when you have aces at a 9-person table are:1/225 * 7/2500 ... or...0.00125%

Orion071 0
I played a 2/4 ring game this weekend where this guy and I kept pushing post-flop, turn and river. Turns out we both had KK. After the hand, he goes "I put you on queens." I said, "I thought you had queens!"
Mattnxtc 0
i was in a tourney one time with pocket 10s...there is a decent raise preflop..i call and hit my set on the flop and push all my chips in...I get called by 2 people both having pocket A's...I thought that was humerous

TheSkearnel 0
Well, count me amongst the people it's happened to as well. Up at the Canterbury in MN, playing in a 2/4 game. Was getting capped every round between me and this other guy. There was a K on the board, so I half thought maybe he had 3 kings, but sure enough, he turns over aces. We shared a laugh, but it's not really that funny. -Shawn K
eric star 0
thats funny because i was just in a play tourney and there was AA vs. AA also. now whats the chances of that in the same day on 2 tables. lol nuts.
slash 0
I've had that happen quite a few times. It really is strange. I have no idea what the odds are, but I can't imagine that the frequency with which it has happened to me on Party is truly a random statistical anomaly...

Tommyhawkers 0
Yesterday I was playing a $20 SnG at Paradise. I'm high stacked and the table.. at 50/100 blinds, someone on my right raises in front of me to 200. I simply call with TJo. Guy on my left re-raises all in, to about 800. Guy on my right then re-raises to about 1,800. I call again hoping to bust them both out. guy on my right has AA, as well as the guy on my left. Felt a little better but still figured they were going to chop my money. And a hilarious flop of..789. They needed runnings 7s,8s, or 9s to split up my money. I bust them both out, and neither of them flamed me, how amazing!
braminc 0
yes but are the chances of getting aces 1/225??? i thought there were 91 different starting hands in holdem NOT counting suits. so wouldnt that mean u have a 1/91 chance of getting dealt aces? or am i doing something stupid here.... btw, im talking only about one player getting aces at the moment, not

And since there are 13 different numbered cards, the odds of getting AA are 1/17 * 1/13 = 221.Hope this helps...

arerad 0
i had AA vs AA on pokerstars last week..........we both went all in as well as a guy with JJ..............of course the JJ hit a set and took down the aces........thank god is was on the play tables ! !
KTW 0
I know this was an AA scenario but I frequently see people not realizing the odds are the same regardless of the pair. IE: AA = 220/1 and 33 = 220/1. Aces are "worth" more, but the odds of receiving are the same for any pair. Later, Charles. 8)
MapleLeafs 142
In a home game a couple weeks ago, I was dealt QQ in BB. EP raised it 4x BB, and everyone folded to me, and I doubled the EP's raise. As I was putting a chip on my cards, they fell into the chip tray in front of me on those cheap home tables and it flipped them over. I covered them quickly but I'm pretty sure a few people saw what they were. Instantly, EP announced he was all in, and I just shook my head, committing to the fact that I'm going to have to pay for my stupid mistake, so I said call and turned over my queens but I kept my head down as I was obviously a little embarassed. EP had the other 2 queens.
vgsgeek 0
I've been on the lucky end of an AA vs AA scenario. I had QQ in middle position. Guy under the gun raises, I move all-in, button calls all-in, initial better calls all-in. Q on the flop and that's the ball game.Got quite a few LOL's from the rest of the table. (I kept my LOLs to myself).
MRPICKLES 0
I have been "lucky" enought to lose with AA against AA, and KK vs KK. Both times four of the same suit on the board . But I guess how else would you lose like that....
