CobaltBlue 662
He should have a set or a draw here? There aren't many AcXc draws he can have if he opened from UTG+1 and we can see the Kc, Qc and Jc. You should just make him Russian not German then we can stack off with any 2.Yeah...seems like a set or draw...maybe AA-QQ.And if he were from the UK, I could've stacked off. :)I'm always teasing Simon that the UK has by far the worst cash players percentage-wise. QED 4
Yeah...seems like a set or draw...maybe AA-QQ.And if he were from the UK, I could've stacked off. :)I'm always teasing Simon that the UK has by far the worst cash players percentage-wise.We have a good number of donators for sure but I've yet to run into a Russian that wasn't 100% crazy. Unless you have some idea that his UTG+1 range is fairly wide I think we have to fold here because it's really hard to find draws he can have in his range given all the high card c we can see. KingJames 11
Two interesting live hands from yesterdayA couple people limp, I limp Ac8c. Flop is 6c7h2s. I bet $7 when it gets checked to me. Guy on the button makes it $20. I had a read on him that he liked to raise people's flop bets a lot, and I even saw him do this with just TP before.I decide that since he seemed like a competent player and we were fairly deep, that I would 3bet bluff him with a little bit of equity (two overs and bdfd). I make it $50 straight. He tank calls. Turn is a 8d. I bet $54 and he folds.Turn; is this a value bet? Think he'll get sticky with a 7?
SuperJon 175
Turn; is this a value bet? Think he'll get sticky with a 7?Yes, for thin value. I can't say for certain how he was going to react on the turn, because in all other cases of him raising the flop, the other player had folded.

I did end up folding, but I was obviously annoyed about it. I hate folding flush draws with two overs on the flop...and couldn't actually recall the last time I'd had to do it. SuperJon 175
Hmmm...I was playing 35/30 at the time, and villain seemed okay, but nothing special.Based on his bet sizing, I was pretty confident I had the best hand. Can there be value in this c/r?The only reasons I think so are:1. I'm playing pretty LAG.2. I've been passive up to this point in the hand.3. The way the board has run out, I think I have more bluffs in my range than value hands. Therefore, I think I can get looked up more often by 8x, 55-77, plus if he has 87 he just got counterfeited on the river.Feral Cow PokerPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em $0.10/$0.25 - 5 playersCO: $41.43 Button: $24.65 SB: $29.26 BB: $48.58 (Hero)UTG: $25.00 Preflop: ($0.35) Hero is BB with (5 players)UTG folds, CO raises to $0.75, Button calls $0.75, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50Flop: ($2.35) (3 players)Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets $1.25, Hero calls $1.25, CO foldsTurn: ($4.85) (2 players)Hero checks, Button bets $1.75, Hero calls $1.75River: ($8.35) (2 players)Hero checks, Button bets $1.75, Hero raises to $44.83 and is all-in

Quickly doing the math there is $11 in the pot and Button has another $19 to stack off with. I think I'd prefer a smaller in the $8-$10 range.
