GWCGWC 83
I think this post was a passive aggressive snarky thing, like we all discussed the movie and spoiled it for you.I think I just found the name for my penis.
GWCGWC 83
I try to avoid commercials but given the amount of television I watch, sometimes they filter through. I've noticed in the past few years the women in commercials have gone from a super thin and pretty look to a more realistic healthy cute look. I wonder why the shift. JoeyJoJo 18
Pics or it didn't happen. But, uh, I haven't noticed this. I'm still infatuated with Denise from Taco Bell. I can't think of any other women in commercials right now.

GWCGWC 83
Yea, she's super thin and pretty. Taco Bell is going the more traditional route of using too skinny but pretty faced women to represent their current commercial campaign. This girl is the direct opposite of their customer base and certainly not reflective of the majority of women that work behind the counter. I'm saying it seems to me a lot of companies are using girls that are more average in the looks department in their TV ads. The cell phone commercial that's touting the merits of roll over minutes. cingular? Now it seems any soccer mom-esque character in commercials will have a more realistic body type than the glamorous unattainable body type of a super model. The red haired over excitable women selling insurance. esurance? All Calis, Viagra, or any old man dick pill commercials. The Hanes bra and undies for curvy women commercials. This product is targeting a thicker body type so this particular commercial doesn't exactly make my point. I just wanted to mention the commercial so I could say some of those girls are really yummy looking.
dolfan 0
This girl is the direct opposite of their customer base...I don't know, Taco Bell has that one chubby girl who is slightly less chubby now because she gets pico de gallo on her tacos or whatever.

uncooper 1
The red haired over excitable women selling insurance. esurance? She's super annoying in those commercials (Progressive). Progressive Girl Standup
JoeyJoJo 18
Well if you're gonna use a picture where she's making a retard face!!Yeah, but I defy you to find a picture where Denise is making a retard face.Progressive Girl StandupInteresting. She's sort of got a Sarah Silverman vibe going there. I have no sound, so take that for what it's worth.
uncooper 1
I have no sound, so take that for what it's worth. She's less annoying than the character she plays in the commercials, but still kinda annoying. Also, moderately funny.
brvheart 1,752
Gene Hackman is 80 (!) years old today. I would not have guessed that. For those of you saying that if Michael survives he will come back for Dukie, I think you either missed the point of that scene or I misunderstood it. Because to me that was goodbye, forever. That whole, "Remember that time, Mike" "I dont" That was seriously depressing. Im pretty sure Dukie has been swallowed up by the streets. I could be wrong, and although its just a TV show, I hope I am.I remember seeing Mr. Prezbo with a huge beard. Maybe he makes an appearence in the finale. My guess is that the only hope for Dukie is Prezbo.Snoop took it like a champ.Omars time was long ago. His character was almost too good at what he did. Very unrealistic, imo, that he hadnt been dropped by a random earlier.McNulty seems to be fucked. Bubbles seems to be on the right track. That scares me. Keema is a rat. I cant believe it. Terrible.Cross posted just in case Suited edits it.

speedz99 145
If the script for Groundhog Day was greenlighted today, who do you think would play the leads? You could answer based on any criteria...if it was made by a small or large studio, if options were limited or if any actor could be gotten, etc.

As the self-declared winner of round 1, I'll offer another. If the Brazil script were greenlighted today, who would play the male and female leads? And if you want to expand it, who would play DeNiro and Michael Palin's parts too?
