  1. Definitely call. With that many cold callers after to the flop your pot odds and implied odds are still huge. Don't forget that you also have absolute position on this hand, meaning you can check to the BB raiser and see what the entire table does before having to put money in the pot.
  2. That's because you haven't hit the inevitable big downswing yet. What do you consider a big downswing? My biggest so far was 5 buy ins during three days.
  3. I bet the flop for value. You should 3-bet turn with no hesitation and then send mp1 a thank you card.
  4. Lol, way to donk raise that river.
  5. Sushiman

    omg

That was even better than the ESPN "poker correspondent" article about how low limit holdem is unbeatable.
  6. That I do.Btw, if the turn pairs the board should he fold to heavy action?
  7. Why would you raise that flop? You are not cleaning up any outs, and I doubt you are getting any reverse dominating hands to fold. I don't see it as having any value as a freecard play since you don't have position and the flop most likely hit the preflop aggressor.
  8. The Sands actually has tournaments? They have like 5 tables total! The dealers at Sands don't know jack. I've played there and all they do is chat up the players and whoever else is working in the room. It's a friendly atmosphere but the dealers do not know the rules. By center of the table do you mean like in front of the dealer? Or was it actually in the muck pile? If it touched muck pile then the hand is dead, unless Sands has some specific rule about all ins in tournies. I guess it theotically could be to prevent chip dumping between players....but that's pretty ridiculous in a $20 rebuy
  9. I like the 3 bet, KQs plays well enough heads up and the 3-bet is clearly meant to buy the button here.
  10. Assuming the turn and river are both bricks? It depends if you think he is the type to call one last bet with just A high. If you think he is the stubborn type and will not fold, I think a bet has value. But if he hasn't showndown a lot of hands then I wouldn't bother since you are not being paid off with anything you beat.
  11. Well how passive is the guy? Does he have high standards for capping? The flop doesn't tell you much since any hand that capped will do a continuation bet here. You have two overs and two runner draws. I raise the flop and ditch to a threebet or if he leads the turn. Checking down is definitely bad.
  12. Check out this relevent article:http://twoplustwo.com/magazine/current/miller1005.html
  13. He was trying to get you to fold a hand that you three bet, and now lead on a KKAA board? With a great read maybe....but wow. At least he knew he had ONE out that's clean.
  14. I've never played at Starts but it's that fast? Don't they have a payment process that reviews your withdrawl?Party usually gets it to me within 12 hours, so do the Party skins. Absolute took about a week to get my money out.
  15. The guy is friggin married....unless going for Asian chicks makes you gay.
  16. From the looks of his stats it seems he is only raising big pairs and AK, and then jams the pots he does decide to enter. I'm not sure I even defend the blind against someone like that.
  17. "If I hadn't been a donk who ran well in the beginning, would I still be playing poker today?"I was a below average NL player turned really crappy limit player who just happened to get lucky enough his first few sessions at a casino to get a learning bankroll plus an interest for the game. I never played a holdem game until a year and a half ago, and never even entered a casino until my friend took me to the Bally's poker room where they were spreading 2/4. Of course, I bought in for 10 BB and proceeded to donk my way to $120 profit. I went again a month later and again made money with horr
  18. I find that the numbers given by party are not typically reliable, so I just sit at a table and check it out for a bit. If the game is not juicy I just leave.
  19. If your br is good enough, go for it.
  20. You isolate with small to mid pocket pair here to get out over cards.....3 betting A10 against a tight player who raises UTG doesn't do much in my opinion. And no way does capping get out any hand that 3 bets, even as a bluff.
  21. Interesting. Is this river bet for value because you feel he might check behind, or so you can 3-bet?I've never played against kdawg before, but I don't get the flop play.
  22. 30/60? Is this your regular game now? Damn you did move up fast. And river is time for sexy indeed. I like it.
