Ok guys I am confused. It is not okay to post old news, even though it was the first time I seen it confirmed? (Yes I know it had been posted many times that everyone believed it was him.) But it is okay to post 40 times a day about satan being broccoli or to pm dna about a password? I am sorry that some of us don't hang on the forum all day just seeing who has posted what.

I agree.some of these guys are real losers.I haven't watched much of it..any good?
It is somewhere between a poker superstars shove fest and a wpt final table slightly less frequent shove fest. It isn't too bad, just because the pros are fairly enjoyable. (Grinder, who busted so early I missed him. Daniel, Josh Arieh, David Williams, and Evelyn Ng).

im I the only one who would punched williams had I been at the table?he constantly talked about a hand when he wasnt involved and constantly tryed to peak at others whole cards, then he calls daniel on the "show one show all" rule. which to my understand meant if you show one player your cards you must show all. not show one card show both

It's on FSN. Or GSN. I don't know. I just Tivo it. 5 prelim rounds with 2 pros, 2 celebs and 4 internet qualifiers. Those 5 plus one more each pro, celeb, internet consolation winners go to the final table where they add a "wildcard" pro who wasn't previously announced but everyone knew was DN from his blogs and his conspicuous absense.It's not a bad show overall. And it proves that Bill Gates is one lameass billionaire compared to Calvin. They guy may be a dork who has to hire models to dance at his party but at least he hires models to dance at his party. The internet qualifiers are for the most part surprisingly decent players. Most of the celebs held there own except for one stoned blond chick who thought her trip aces beat a flush.

Two cards for a winner, if a player asks you have to show both, even if only one is needed to make your hand.But it really pisses people off when someone calls them on it, and yes I would have punched him in the face.

I'm starting to miss Celebrity Poker Showdown.with it's decent blind/stack ratio and Phil Gordon.WPT is unwatchable..but I still do.
I don't know what people have been complaining about in regards to the WPT. They have slowed down the blind structure considerably this season. At the final tables I have seen many stacks (most of them in fact) with M's still well into the 15-20+ range with 3-4 people left. What more can you ask for?

It's called Calvin Ayre's Wild Card Poker (stupid name for those of us searching it out on TIVO--should have been called Bodog...since he is the owner of Bodog and no one knows his name).It is on GSN or FSN and airs on Saturday nights. Now that it is over, I think they will rebroadcast them. But basically there are 5 preliminary rounds and the winners of those rounds go to the final table with a wildcard player that they don't know about (Daniel) and then there are some consolation rounds that also send some additional players for a full table.I would just say the I think David Williams comes off like a prick and if I were Daniel I would have said some other things to him! I thought Williams was a poor representation of a pro player. But then so was Jennifer Tilly...come on, she played like a beginner and she doesn't ever shut up!!!!

Thanks for answering my questions.I remember when it was filmed ... but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been broadcast in my area. The channel that carries the Pokerstars series is frequently being pre-empted for baseball games. That may explain why I haven't seen it.llou
