and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

$1,500 each player. I take that back. $1,250. It's a $1,000 donation which gives you the right to buy up to 4 tickets at $750 each. 6 home games next year.

Basketball tickets are worse. Going up at least twice what they were the prior year for the same seats and they weren't cheap to begin with. My buddies dad always got 3 seats and id occasionally get to go. I hope they renew. At least or bball team is good.

I'm no accountant, so bear with me. It's $1000 donation for the right to buy tickets at $750 each. 2 tickets would be $1500 + $1000 donation, equaling $2500. For 6 games. $416.50 per gamed or both of you, approximately

That's effing insane.

Students get a break, right?

Your maths is correct. It's insane.

Student tickets are still around $150 but it's GA seating in a sliver of the stadium in the NE corner of the stadium. Not the best seats but it's still a good time to be there.

students have a steeply discounted package where you just end up waiting in line to get tickets for each game. people just formed groups and took shifts sitting out in the cold.

I don't like anything that much to do that.

Except maybe hot Mexican weather girls.

SA, if you get those tickets how hard are they to sell on the secondary market? I would think getting season tickets, going to 2-4 games then selling the rest would be ideal.

Very probably, that is what my dad does with the nebrasaka football season tickets my grandpa first got in 1962.

But for me i dont want to be hassled with it, or lay out the cash.

Networks have to do a better job of pulling the plug on ex players who are awful analysts. Barkley too is a blow hard still stuck in 80's basketball. Dude spend the entire playoffs saying there was no way the Warriors could win because they were just a jump shooting team. Never mind the fact they were #1 in defense for the year, had one of the deepest rosters and had the best record in the league for 82 games.

Oh yeah, it was 106 here today and is going to be hot all weekend so I'm not doing much. Will get in at least one poker session though.

yeah it was really hot here too. in full suit and tie it can get pretty stuffy in the collar. i had a meeting at a clients house and i yanked that tie off and blasted the AC and it was glorious.

Finished the pack.

Accidentally gave away an entertainment center that our realtors (my in-laws) had verbally promised to the new owners. We were going to just leave it since we didn't want it and it was a pain to move. However, our cleaning lady took up our offer and took it today (we knew the strong possibility of leaving it had been mentioned to the new owners but hadn't been aware of the promise). So now we're not sure what to expect from the walk through in the morning. Plan is to apologize for the misunderstanding and offer $250.

Did you just rip on Barkley as an announcer?

I don't know what to do with this information on your opinions, but it's not good.

breach of contract, deal is off.

Any notion of that is scary. Seems almost impossible that it'd be a huge deal. More just floating the idea of what a reasonable resolution would be. Her dad bought it for $150 (but kept increasing that number over the years until yesterday he said it was $700). He also claims it was worth $2k, but we tried for over a year to sell it for cheap and/or give it away with no luck.

Looking on IKEA and elsewhere, it appears that you can get a reasonable entertainment center for $200-300, hence my idea of an offer.

You realize Tilty is correct though, right?

Barkley was a great player and is very funny, but as a hardcore analyst, not good. He's an entertainer. And he is absolutely stuck in his mind with regards to how the game is evolving

Took me a mother fvckin hour to get to work today. Storm knocked three sets of traffic lights out, right at the intersection of two majot highways coming off a bridge to get into downtown (broadway bridge, strat). It was a disaster zone.
