tilt on espn, is it returning?

I doubt it. The Matedor went to jail at the end of the first seaon. Unless they wanted to start the second season several years later with him out of jail, the show would be crappier than it already was without Mike Madsen.

Apparently it's already in production, and if you saw the season finale last year, the main eye witness killed himself, so I assume Marsden's character is going to avoid jail altogether. It's a fun show, even if it does negatively portray poker. All they need is the Matador to hack off Eddie's ear while listening to "Stuck in the middle with you"

I saw on an ESPN chat where it was coming back and that Hellmuth was going to be featured throughout the season. He was talking about acting.
Did he talk about how he was going to make hundreds of millions of dollars from acting?

He actually admitted that he didn't expect an emmy, but he was doing it for the enjoyment and the added benefit of getting more name recognition. He also talked about the hand on tv that the Matador beat him with.

the show was good when they played poker... but i expect it to be a much different season, since eddie won and gave miami and i dont remember the black guys name money. so unless they are going to have to join forces again, it wont be anything like the same show...unless they steal from oceans twelve and have the bad guy want his $5 million back, which would 1) be a total ripoff of oceans twelve which wasnt good and 2) would just plain suck

If there is a second season, it's already in the can and has been for a few months now.It was shot in Toronto, and back in April they sold off everything from the set.I managed to score some cards and a couple racks of chips from the "Colorado Casino", before some guy bought the entire crate full of chips then proceeded to sell them on ebay for 5X what they were asking for them there.Wish I'd beat him to it!!

You guys are crazy, I love TILT! Not because it's a good show, just because of it's ridiculous comedic value it provides me as a poker player.
Ditto.I mean really, where else can you get lines like "never ask a barber if you need a haircut because the answer is always yes"You people need to read up on the Unintentional Comedy Scale. This will help you to understand why we need more TILT.

I'm with the unintentional comedy fans here. Seriously, how many times during each episode did the Matador relate life to poker by saying something ridiculously stupid? I know it's a fictional show, but can anyone imagine Doyle saying, "Sorry, fellas. I can't play too long tonight. The Mrs. is still on tilt from an argument we had last night. She kept betting out and I came over the top every time. It was ugly. Anyway, if I don't get home early I'm gonna take a bad beat."

Eh, it entertained me. That's all I care about. I'm easily amused, however.I hope they don't cancel it, it helps me fill out my TV watching schedule. Football 3 days a week + Tilt + South Park. Avoid TV the other days. I think the NFL is fucking with my schedule this season though.

Forget Hellmuth...Miami is the only woman I want to see on there.
