Paulaner Brewery - GermanyDay 1:this has to be a special beer....the god of beers:GUINNESSGuinness is a popular dry stout that originated in Arthur Guinness's St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. Traditionally founded in 1659, the beer is based on the porter style that originated in London in the early 18th century. It is one of the most successful beer brands in the world, being exported worldwide. The distinctive feature in the flavour is the roasted barley which remains unfermented. For many years a portion of the beer was aged to give a sharp lactic flavour, but Guinness has refused to confirm if this still occurs. The thick creamy head is the result of the beer being mixed with nitrogen when being served. It is extremely popular with the Irish and is the best-selling alcoholic drink of all time in Ireland, where Guinness & Co. makes almost 2 billion annually. Alcohol content is 5.0%Chrozzo's ranking: 10/10 stars

SuitedAces21 2,723
Maybe the beer was first made in 1659, but the recipe wasnt perfected for 50 years or so?
chrozzo 19
Day 2:my "tied for all time" favorite:MCEWANS SCOTCH ALEBlended red-brown-black color is intriguing though populated with short, lonely strings of bubbles. A healthy suggestion of apples and alcohol pokes through the pronounced musty odor. Thick and hearty, the strong malt leads to an enjoyably creamy mouthfeel. Taste is sweet and buttery, with a vague touch of fruitiness. The hidden pleasures of this heavy-weight scotch ale whisk you away to the mist-shrouded moors of the Scottish Highlands. The pungent, syrupy finish sits heavily on the taste buds. Darkly piquant and brawny, this beer is clearly not for everyone.Alcohol content is 8.5%Chrozzo's ranking: 12/10 stars(and just fyi...AAsnake88 had this for the first time and got fucked up after 3...hehehehehe...weeeeeeeeeee)
