So far my goals are going thismonth at poker I am winning at the higher limits 200/400 even at a tight table. Also gambling is were the money is and the NFL is paying out I am hiting the Jackpot last weel 9-1 only losing a bet on Philadel; Pittsburg is to strong to bet the books make the line all one sided to keep you offf them. It is interesting the change from drawing to bluffing that loose /tight gives you I have learn thus that one important decision in poker is how much you will make, not just rate these kind can fuel victory.
Just 1 question for you as you will appreciate my curiosity from reading your posts. Not interrogative, as there is no real benefit from answers or implications obviously, although there are always satisfying responses possible. This is without narcotics however, so no excuses will be accepted. Are you Russ Georgiev?? You have a simialr writing style.

i feel like i am going to make my goal of making $1000 this month. i am putting in a ton of hands and playing better than i ever have before. i took a good look at my approach to plo8 and decided that while i am winning im not beating it by as much as i can. i got into this mindset that i was really good and just unlucky when in reality i wasnt playing very well at all. at the beginning of this year i told all my friends that by december i was going to have $20,000 in my bank account. that didn't happen, i guess you could say i went on a year long very bad life tilt. if i keep up with how im playing as well as living right now though i think that i could have that or even more saved up by next year.

Whooo Hoooo,Finally Oct. allowed me to build my br back up to 4k. I finally am back to 200NL full ring. I have had one session at that stake so far which was break even. Right now the initial plan is to play one table of 200NL while playing 2 or 3 tables of 100NL. I definately want to keep the number of tables down to concentrate on my 200NL table. Thus far the 200NL tables have been uber tight as back in July when i was playing them last. I have been really trying to practice good game selection which mean jumping around a lot in 200NL. The games up at 200NL get bad so fast I have to constantly be jumping around. At 100NL a good table consisted of an avg. pot of around 30 bucks though i though all the way down to about 23 or 24 was good, with people to flop about about 30% or more if possible. 200NL it looks like a good table there is 30 bucks as well or maybe just a hairs breath more at about 35 or 40. People to flop rarely gets above 25% so obv. people are much nittier. Since July I feel like i have opened up my game quite a bit, if table conditions are right i will raise with suited connectors from T9 down to 56 UTG through the button. Beyond that just playing fundamentally correct is great. I think the next big step is identifying ppl who raise in EP that have the implied odds to spike sets or call with suited connectors. Here are the goals for the upcoming month:Play one table of 200NL full ring until i reach 5k, I can play 2-3 table of 100NL at the same time as well. Once I get to 5k I will expand to 2-3 tables of 200NLMake a big score (1k+) in a MTT. I really feel a big score is right around the corner. Play in 1 or more 650 for the PCA and 1 DS for the PCA.Play the Sunday Mill. 2 out of 3 of the sundays left this month. I was unable to satellite into the sunday mill last sunday......After watching several Cardrunners videos and seeing the multitude of regulars at 200NL i know I need to get PT, which i have just not up and running, and PAHUD just to stay competitive. If i have any desire to be a winning player in 200NL and beyond I have to have this resource. So that realization should be motivation enough for me to purchase and learn how to use those programs. I plan on staying at 200NL for a long time. At least 4 months before moving up no matter how big my br gets. From what i glean from pros the br requirement for 20 buy ins is definately a minimum and seems very conservative as well. So who knows how big my roll will be when i decide to tackle 400NL. In a long term goal i know that learning 6-max will be a major goal by the end of the 4 months because full ring games are harder to come by the higher you go. When i reach 5k i will be purchasing an iPhone for myself so my br will take a dip in a good way and then i will build it back up and get to 5k and proceed with the table goals i have set. Peace and happy Pokering...

don't think it's an easy call really unless some conditions are met - i.e. game flow, guy's tilting, or you have a superior read on him, etc.for example: this hand is a weird way to play Kings and I was able to pop turn and semi(heh)confidently call on the river. Versus a good amt of donks or even regulars, I fold river a lot probably, but reads helped a lot and he got ownedNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $2/$46 playersConverterStack sizes:Hero: $902.90UTG+1: $475CO: $541.70Button: $384SB: $384.70BB: $394Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with K :icon_dance: K :club:Hero raises to $16, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds.Flop: 7 :D T :icon_dance: 3 :D ($52, 3 players)SB bets $12, Hero raises to $60, UTG+1 folds, SB calls.Turn: 8 :icon_dance: ($172, 2 players)SB bets $12, Hero raises to $100, SB calls.River: A :icon_dance: ($372, 2 players)SB is all-in $208.7, Hero calls. Results in white:Final pot: $789.4SB showed 7h 9dHero showed Kc Kdand as for teh graphwhen I 4table...I get a little too bluffy :Pi.e. Unnecessary situation but I thought I represented the hand well. Goals for November...20k hands of $50 plo - ANY profit at all, just end up in the black for the month. $500 in rakeback. Make Iron at ft. Mix in a donkament here and there, make one more final table of an event with over 100 players. gl everyone
Well, I've gone back to playing at 25plo, so I may have to revise the estimates downward a little, BUT my results at 25 are way better than they have been for quite some time, so who knows. As for the FT, I did that yesterday, mind you only in a 4.40 as part of the challenge. Went out 7th, with AA < KK all in preflop against the chipleader.........OBV :club: lol

to use my position but also I felt it would get in his mind/look "obvious" that i have trip jacks. Villain is a really good player, in fact I later learned he's a 5/10nl regular lol. QQ,KK, AK, etc don't like this board and he knows that I know thatcheck, half pot turn to tie him in, river shove because it's 2/3 pot for value.if he waited 20 more seconds, I would've won : (

deep? no but even w/100bbs the offsuits I fold, AQ i fold unelss it's button vs blind situation. If it's JTs I cal, QJs.....mmmmmmm.........I'd rather KQs, and suited connectors.w/the way me and villain were going, for 100bbs I'd shove AQ there. But deep I really couldn't answer it. I'm still thinking about it. Probably hands like JTs and 56s I'm calling. AQ and under i'm folding. Oh, and since I don't like money, I def. call w/T6o

Made a second FT of a 180 today, granted, only a 4.40, but a money finish in this challenge would sure help the roll, not to mention I'm up about $130 just from playing the first four tourneys in it...Finished 3rd in one, and 11th in the other. If I can keep it going anywhere NEAR the pace I've started at, I should have a good shot at it.

Poker has driven me to screaming a lot lately. Think of that German kid on YouTube. I'm seriously running horrendously in tournaments lately. If the hand goes to showdown, I will lose 90% of the time. That said...cash has been going okay...which keeps me afloat.

OkI have to revise my goals... instead of 1 table of 200NL with 2-3 tables of 100NL i am going to run 2 200nl tables and 2 100NL until my br is at 5k where i will go 200NL full time. i did this the last two sessions with good results. 200NL is just wayy too boring without more tables going. way too many grinders and rarely getting more than 22% to flop. I see the same faces quite a bit and see that they definately know what they're doing but still aren't creative. i search them and see that they areplaying like 10+ tables and know that they aren't capable of making good reads and mixing it up well with me at 4 to 5 tables at one time max i am able to mix it up and figure out how to better exploit the few ppl that come up to 200NL to donk off. br at 4.3k right now, soon to 5k hopefully and i will get an iphone hehe. ... and krup, if you read this, one thing i noticed about your game is open limping. that is definately not my preference especially in late position. i suggest you take that out of your game. if your going to be the first one voluntarily into a pot the hand needs to be strong enough to raise, and a raising hand might be 78s, adds deception and gives you the lead in the hand which that alone wins pots more than 2/5ths of the time. peace

ok, this month is definitely not going as expected.after the ap scandal i withdrew a ton of money to moneybookers, and then shipped a fair bit to myself via cheque.now ive reached my 90 day limit for moneybookers withdrawls. so i have a LOT less to work with, until i can withdraw more.so ive basically resigned to playing 3/6 and 5/10 on a prop account. has been working "ok" i'd say. about break even at the tables, but clearing a good $150/hour in prop pay.

Made my 3rd and 4th FT's of the $4.40 challenge today, just killing it. Granted I finished 9th in both, but really, I can't complain, I was super short in both. 7 tourneys played, 5 cashes, 4 FT's - worst finish 33rd, other non cash was a bubble 19th. Keep up the good work LeeJones, I could use the $575
