you are going to be hard pressed to find a great book that specializes in online poker.the first book i ever read was a book on NLHE by Daugherty and McEvoy. It has a small internet play section at the end of it, and it proves to be useful. plus, they have really good lessons in there that helped me out vastly starting out.Also, pick up Super System 2. Doyle wrote a nice section in there for online poker. Plus you've got all the games you'd wanna learn in it. Plus, I'm sure Daniel wouldn't mind the royalties for your purchase

i really like all-in. a ton of great articles. they also break down TV hands for you, and give you just straight up lessons on certain skills in poker and even how to counteract them.card player is great, and no i'm not just saying that because daniel writes for them. they have a lot of great articles for your educational pleasure as well.bluff is more about the novelty aspect of poker. not a whole lot of education material in it. just a lot of talk about tournaments, players, and the lifestyle of a poker player. that's about it.i know there's a couple others, but i haven't looked into t

limit allows for so many outdraws that it can be seriously brutal for someone new to the game, so much so that it can sour them. the amount of showdowns in limit far eclipses the amount in no limit. plus pot odds and implied odds almost always dictate that you chase your draws. every time i'm in a limit tournament, i make a ton of outdraws. so yeah, it's rather common play in limit to chase a draw.

Wow Harry, I wonder how many other pros have caught on to the incredible mess there. You would think that in the end these flaws in their organization system would be fixed, because at the height of this poker boom they can't afford for their events to suffer huge losses.But thanks for the info about this. I'll know where to avoid when I venture to Vegas in late '05 and all of 06, unless they fix it before then.

I would also like to see Daniel play Robert Williamson in PL Omaha. Robert is supposedly a Omaha whiz; I think that would make a good challenge. Let's see if he throws his hat into this.

i doubt he'd get consent from his competition...let's face it, we're just lucky there's hole cams on the wpt and wsop. this would just give up so much info on everyone's strategy in their best games.as much as i'd like to see it too, i don't think it would happen. but who knows? i could be wrong, daniel might see this, try it, and actually get a good response from the competition.

you're gonna think about these hands.Pocket aces, at this point, is dominated by pocket kings, pocket jacks, pocket eights, KJ, K8, and is drawing to either an ace, or (if david has the two pair), hitting a pair on the board that is not part of two pair. So if David has a pocket pair, Daniel's got two outs, if David got's two pair, at this point, he's got 5 outs. Then if David has the two pair and hits the full house on the turn, he's once again drawing to two outs. He's drawing dead if David has two clubs and one hits on the turn or river. All are definitely valid hands to play heads up.
