First of all, I enjoy my home games greatly. It is a 40-100$ buy in side game. We play this game 3/4 times a week and I enjoy it. But there is one problem, a lot of the guys tend to swear excessively during game play. I have tried countless times to create a rule on swearing but have been unable to convice the other guys. To me, swearing is an unecessary part of poker, and I would like to instill a rule that would end it. Does anybody have a rule in place which penalizes swearing in your homegames?

i always show bluffs during the first 30 min of gameplay or so.. it pays off well.

Swear to god that this really happened. (40-100$ Cashgame)A kid raised under the gun with AA, people folded to one of the weakest players i know on the button. This player has AQ of D and reraises. UTG player goes allin overbetting the pot badly. Player on the button calls immidiatly, flop comes 2 d and rivers another d making the winning hand: flush. Alot of people are in shock with what just happened. I ask "how could you possibly call his allin"? With out missing a beat he says, (in an very high voice) " I PUT HIM ON ACE KING " everyone breaks out laughing.

In an average home game, one of the weaker players went allin with A8. he was called by another player with A2. the board was A236 the river was a 3. to make the player with a8 win the hand. the winner then annouced split pot and started chopping it. I then yelled, you dumb **** you win and the person with A2 got rly mad at me saying "he annouced split so its split.. your not even in hand you cant say ****"is it bad for me to say this?

I played my usual low stake home game couple days ago. I played amazing poker but i ended up losing 2 buyins (50$ ea). and even tho i was losing (outragous beats) i still thought my play and decision making was godlike. Im just pointing out that being able to play at the same level when your winning and when your losing is fun and important!

what the hell you doing playing .25 / .50 :0.in my opinion folding KK preflop is prty ez at higher stakes. I dont know how many times iv done it. i love the peeps that will never lay down KK preflop ecspecaily at 2/4 / 3/6 NL.

Me and a friend (who is 21) went to this casino tonight. I was a little paranoid about beeing carded (8 months away from 21) but i didnt let it faze me. I met up with my friend and we walked in the doors noding at the security dude. I felt at ease as we entered the dirty smoking slot section of the casino. I found my way to the poker room and sat down at a 3/5 NL game. It was real slow in the begining, one of the coldest hours of my life. i won a couple pots here and there and got my 300$ stack up to about 500$ in the second hour.
