no need to waste your time. If i wanted people to care i wouldn't have posted in general. i wanted to share it with the forum because i thought was a funny hand. i've never seen it in the 4 years i've been playing now, and i thought some would get a kick out of it.

The vets will definately take it down, no doubt about it. I'm very excited to see how this all will unfold, so many people with chances to blow their lid. I got my money on Ace for the vets, Alton for the rooks.

Daniel, good luck in 2006, I know you'll pull it off. Reread your articles from the 2004 cardplayer articles, maybe it will inspire you, it helps me. On top of your game you are without a doubt the best player at what you do, and we know you can climb back to that. We wish you good luck, and good cards.

saw the 2005 results thread.....good story.
milestodavid replied to CaneBrain's topic in General Poker Forum
Ok that is fair Don. You can remove 7475 from my online poker profits total if you wish. The point of this post was to tell the story not discuss my poker results from 2005. 8)Edit: I did also say my poker profit totals were VERY deceiving! Hehe. It is late here in beautiful Florida so I am going to get some sleep. I am very interested to see where this thread goes....I anticipate it will be a long one.I don't blame you for taking the money, us Florida poker players have to grind it out to build a bankroll! -
I lost, not big time though. I took this year as a learning year, making mistakes here and there online, but I realized I'm a live tournament player. I rely heavily on outplaying live and picking up tells and patterns on my opponents. Live I'm up about $1200 playing mostly home game and some underground cardroom tournaments. Online I'd say I'm up a grand total of $20 dollars, if that. I know it's not a loss, but considering what most people are up, that is a loss.I think my main reason for such bad online play is choice of website. I really don't know where to play right now. If someone could

I wish we got more records of Ungar's play. I can only assume that he was very aggressive. Imagine what it would be like if we had a pocket cam for Stu, man that would be fun to watch.

So you're getting better than 2:1 on your money, AND you flopped a set, easy call. If you are in the UNLIKELY situation that one of them has a higher set, you just cant fold this hand, you would make money on this hand more than 90 percent of the time.I had a hand like this one time, but it was a 1-1 NL game. I had 10 10 on the button. UTG raises to $3, MP caller, cut-off min-raises to $5 (I wonder what he has). I was going to call the initial $2, so i figured if i call the other $2 and flop a set, I woulda get paid off huge. Everyone else calls. $20 in the pot.Flop: 4 10 Q . UTG checks.

to bet the river or not. (2hands)
milestodavid replied to nachunja's topic in Other Poker Cash Games
You missed a huge value bet at the first pot. Given the different positions, I'd say UTG had a hand like K10 and the rest probably had A7 considering it's a 2-4 game. The second pot, either way it's an iffy play. If you did bet and he raised, oh well, you make the call and lose a BB. But if you didn't bet and he turned over J10, you missed a big +ev situation. Either way that is a tough river to play. -
I'm lost, where is the strategy forum?(sw)

Have any of the conspiracy theorists responded to this yet? What happened to all the innocent people on the airliner that apparently didn't hit the Pentagon? Are they all OK? Where are they? Are they being held captive by the Republican Party so the public won't know they are all still alive and well? Were they never on the plane? Did they even exist?Maybe it will all be solved by Jack Bauer on the all new two hour season premiere of 24 on Fox Because we can always rely on Faux.
