Tilting Off The $ Like A Retard

Recommended Posts

Earlier today I took four bad beats in a row and tilted off a lot of money (won't disclose the amount). Anyone else here have a story of tilting off a ton of cash. It's funny now because afterwards i played again, didn't care about bad beats, and dominated to win a bunch of money back. Just looking for some people to commiserate with me.

I feel a little better. I lost a 300 pot with AA vs QQ and JJ. I got it in preflop, dude behind me reraised all in, and then some late position guy goes, "I know i'm way behind, but oh well." Of course right in the window was the jack. It was rough. Then i got it in with ace jack with the board reading 10 J A and of course my opponent flips over kq, blank on river. After that i went nuts. I know he flops the stone cold nuts but damn it hurts to have a big hand in that spot. Sometimes you're destined to lose your money. I'd love to see some more bad beat stories. I know i'm not alone here. Gotta go get a kleenex...

Potowatomi casino, $3-5 nl. $200-600 min-max.I have $400.AA under the gun, make it $25 (standard), 2 callers. Flop 346 rainbow.I Check, player 1 (about $450) bets $20, player two (about $500) calls, I raise to $150.Both call. I figure I stack off on the turn to rep 66, only way I can win. Figure they are both on draws and the $250 bet will scare them if they called preflop with AK or something like 99 or 1010.Turn 5. Player one bets $20, player two calls, I stack off for $250.Both call. River Q. Both check.Player 1: 44Player 2: 79 off.Once they called on the turn I knew I was done, but I would have rather seen my chips go to player one. Player 2 says "i felt lucky" when asked by another player at the table why he called on a gutshot.Tom.

I sat down at a 2/5 NL game once and only once live.500$ to startAA first hand and I triple up vs JJ and 78. (SUPER SUPER LAGGY game)I go on a SWEET hot streak and build it up to just under $5000. My biggest win ever in my life by about 4KI notice I'm late to hit a friend's home game, so I rack up and say Deal me out. (I was UTG anyways)Dealer deals me in anyways. I sigh - fine I'll look. Two beautiful black acesI pump to $35.MP is Super LAG - he started the game off by pushing his first 10 hands, just to get chips on the table and build up his stack (this was before I got into the game)he repumps to 150back to me I just push all in and I TELL him I have Aces, don't call I'm just on my way out. (all my chips are stacked, he's knows I'm for real)he says I have aces too I call.he has two becautiful red acesFlop red red red Turn redRiver red.I'm gonzo.I know it only went in the books as -500 but I had racked up $4,800!!!!

Am I the only one that thinks you deserved to get stacked off in this hand?

And this is why I LOVE that game.
