your best rush ever.

Recommended Posts

I know this has been posted before, well I think, however I went on one the the craziest rushes of my poker career. Actually, I know for a fact it was.Absolutely rediculous.I'm playing $100 NL at pokerroom.com and have worked my way up to $160 about 30-45 minutes into my session. I planned on playing for two hours until this happened.AA back to back hands. The first time I picked em' up, I misplayed my hand, but managed to get the luckiest I've ever been and hit a 1 outer on the river to make the best Full house. It was over 9s full and 4s full.I then proceeded to get AA the very next hand and take down a decent pot. Then, no more than 3 hands later, I once again pick up rockets. I turned a set, and on the river put a guy all in. He called $80 with Top pair (AQ) and of course lost. The table could not believe I picked up AA again. Neither could I.I cashed out just after an hour of play with $492. I would have played more, but my friend had called me to go to a movie, and after that rush the adrenaline was really getting to me.I also picked up AA once early on in the session which won me a small pot. I also hit KK earlier on, but folded on the turn to an obvious flush.Anyways, this was my craziest rush ever. You?- Jordan

Um.. I dunno but it's not today! Doucheclown Monkeys!
I should amend this last statement.I hit a retarded rush of suckouts while 2-tabling 1/2, and I moved over to a 2/4 table, one to win some back, and 2nd so I could clear the stupid bonus faster...Now I'm up $80 for the day. Gotta love monkey's who 3-bet AK with no pair on the flop into your 77, and it holds up at the river, lol.

You are playing pokerroom now right? Are the limit players just as bad as the NL players? I mean...people are going broke all the time in the $100 NL games I'm playing now. I think it would be in the interest of your BR to sit down and play.- Jordan

my best rush was turning $40 into $1500 in under 24hrs. However, it was followed by my worst play/rush ever and I lost about $1200 in the next 24hrs

First hand..raised 2x bb with 55..on the button...so flop come 558 and thats all i have to say...all i had to do was call two peoples all ins before me...nothing to bad. Ok..now im feeling pretty good..get K 10 of clubs...so i call. Some dude goes all in and since im feeling good, I call his bet of like 350 or so...prob 15% of my stack. Flop gives me trip tens but a flush draw for the other player....turn..makes his flush..river another 10 to give me back to back quads.. First and hopefully not that last time that happensNUGGET

Rolled 12 points in a row at craps. Had the dice in my hand for 45 minutes. It was crazy. I only made about $1500 though - it was the start of a trip and three of the people with us had never played craps before. Beginner's luck?Pokerwise... I did have a really good run of 700 hands once online. It wasn't much money either, but the BB/100 was crazy.

Playing 2/5 NL at the trop- i was up early then lost a big pot with kings full vs quads. i rebought and got even at about 4:30 AM, close to 10 hours of play. I planned on playing the $200+25 tournament at 9:15 so some sleep looked good to me...then i get AA, reraise it to $50 preflop and get 2 callers.. the flop comes 10-5-4 and i bet out another $50 only to get reraised all in by a guy for his last $400 or so. It's possible he has a set or has a big draw like 6-7 but I call, he turns over 7-7 and I take his stack.Very next hand I score presto, flop a set, check-raise, the guy comes over the top with AK after hitting top pair.... I double up... yes his stack was that big! next hand AA again, and i win another $200 or so.Now my stack is nearing 3k, over a 2k profit. I grab some sleep and come in 4th in the tournament the next day earning another $1400 without getting aces or kings once. I won my big pots with QQ, AK and a set of 8's.Happy I decided to risk the 2/5 table, I usually play 1/2 and was actually putting a big chunk of my bankroll at risk when i sat down and then rebought.

Playing 1/2 NL 100-500 buy in, I won 1.4k in one pot.Best thing was I didn't even buy in, because a friend owed me 100.Quick summarization of the hand:I'm around 500 at the time. I straddle 4$ ahead of the BB. I'm deal pocket queens. One person raises to 35$, and 3 other people call it before it even gets to me. I reraise it 135$. To my shock, 3 people called! The initial raiser has me covered, the guy to his right has about 200 left, and the other one is all in.Flop: Q-K-KI announce that I'm all in and I am called by the person that has me covered. He has K-J ( I was worried about K-Q originally)Turn: ARiver: 10I win 1.4 k.

Thats insane. How did you only win $1500? PRESS THAT CHIT! Even if you started out betting a small amount, you could have paid for a new car by rolling 12 points in a row.

You guys ever experience the jerkoffs at casinos who have alot of money and like to overbet the hell out of every preflop hand. Well i busted this guy who had abou 1500 sittin in front of him at the Tropicana in AC. We were sitting on the 1-2 No limit table and He kept raising everything to at least 40-50 dollars a hand. I flat call his enormous raise late in position and hes UTG. I have 10-10. Flop comes out 9-5-4, he immediately goes all in. Now against any other player i might lay it down. But against this $hitstain i decided to call. He flips over 9-4. The turned card paired the 5 and gave me the higher 2 pair. He doubles me up to about a grand. He reloads some. About 20 minutes later i hit a set of jacks and called his all in with his wide open straight draw. Doubles me up again.I then owned the table for about 2-3 more hours and left with 3g's

Hindsight is 20/20. Me and the one other guy who had played a lot of craps were just looking at each other going - "how is this happening?" Our friends had little clue how lucky I was getting. This all happened at the very start of a Vegas weekend and I always bet small amounts then. And I was afraid my streak would end if I started pressing my bets. Towards the end I did press bets and the seven comes up. I wish I had pressed half of the win from the first bet (with the odds). And just kept making small ($5-10) come bets on the side. Or if I had bet more money on the place (or buy) bets. That's with hindsight - I could have bought a house. What's insane is the guy who dominated a craps table for something like 20 hours. I forget which casino (LA Club?) but they have it listed on their outside walls. I can't imagine what the odds on that are.

start with 170euros on a 2-4 no limit with no maximum of buy-in at the acf after two hours i had 1200 i decided to go on since some players buy-in for more than 2000. in 2 hours i had build a 2900 stack; i played all ight ( up to 6 am) and the other players don't stop rebuy or some other players sit down for 5k and i finally went home with near 7k euros ( 8400$ ) for a 170euros invest ! :-) the funny thing was that i was ot so happy don't know why even if it feels great to be congrats by everyone at the club
