  2. I need some adviceIn order to answer my question you will need some background.I have been playing opker for about 8 years, the last 2 I have tried to be as serious as I could and read up on it. I have read about 8 books and enjoy the educational aspect of poker books. At first (about a year ago) things were very good, I won 3k in a few months playing micro limits. Then, around 4 months ago, things went bad. I haven't had a winning session in a long time. A part of my losing streak is due to not hitting draws (at all), others is the usual bad beats, but the rest I guess is bad luck combined w
  3. This is unbeleivable ! About 2 weeks ago I finished reading vol.1 of Harrington on hold'em. (best book i've read on poker so far). I've read a few;SS1, a couple of sklansky books, Hellmuth, and Caro. But this is by far the best. So, yesterday at around 2pm I ordered vol.2 from www.amazon.ca . I quickly got an e-mail saying it had been shipped, i was happy, because I figured I would get it onmonday or tuesday. But, nooooo, I look in the mail at 10:15 this morning and ITS THERE !! That is way scary, were they on the corner of my street waiting for me to order it ?! For anyo
  4. i think the call was right. it is his call preflopl that is wrong. but the first raise preflop ? i dunno. im not a great player but I would try to steal with a stronger hand, not much stronger , but stronger.

  6. if it is any consolationthis guy is sooooo finishedno one will touch him with 100 foot poll.eventhough "justice" found him not guilty, he has been guilty for weeks in the public eye, and that will never changethe crazy aSS mofo is jus that, he is a screwed up lost little boy.sick toojust my 2 centsj
  7. I have been a blackjack dealer for about ten years now and here are some figures to ponder. With a six deck shoe the house has an edge of .7% over the player. This is taking into consideration that he is playing perfect basic strategy. The more hands you play the more your chances of giving your money awayTo the OP; Why would you play blackjack against a virtual opponent ?There is no way of knowing if you were cheated.Never play online casinos. Stick to poker. My 2 cents
  8. around 3% to deposit with credit card, around 8% from checking.i cant find any withdrawl fees using EFT electronic funds transfer
  9. 7 days, but i usually have enuff money to cover, so it doesn't matter. never really more than $200.With neteller I am wired in to my checking account directly. Cashout to Neteller, then transfer to my checking, usually done within 5 days.Good Luck
  10. I don't see myself as a high stakes player (the most I've paid for mtt is $100). I do have a good take on 11 handed play though. For the last 2 years I have played with the same 10 guys (11 including myself) in a sit and go structure. The most important thing I took from that was; someone always has a hand. AK,AQ,AJ are not rare, not to speak of the pocket pairs. As early posts mentioned, position is important, but it is in any game.Avoid close call situations. And get all your money in when you have the best hand.Have fun is always good. Take in the moment, this is poker history.Keep us poste
  11. not big money but here goes, started with 95 cents last week. in about 5 hours of play i'm up to $45. not too shabby in my books.mostly playing .05-.10 and .25-.50 limit
  12. wow, nice, r u paying your way in, or did u win ur seat ?keep us posted as to ur progress.best of luck.i,ve studied esfiandari quite a bit and always noticed that when he seems to have a good hand, he protects his cards, when they r so so they are kinda out there a little more and his hands r back from them. just a little info, keep us posted as to who u knock out if any.j
  13. not like it matters, but i figured his worth at a little over 20 mil. but poker makes up a lot of that. he is a smart guy , someone is covering the backend bigtime. investments, appearances, stacked..........so all in all net worth , with stock , and stuff, 35 mil. liquid cash to play 10 mil. jsut my 2 centsj
