I'm watching HSP tonight. All I can say is, I've seen some of the dumbest stuff from supposedly good players on this show, and some of the plays tonight are just so attrocious I cannot even comprehend them.Mark
i'd probably play bob safai HU for half my roll

Bob Safai is the worst player I've seen on HSP IMHO, the other non pro dude that busted is pretty decent but once he got a big head his demise came quickly.was cool seeing Safai's hands shake when he pushed it all in to gambool though !!!!!I like DN comments on the previews about locking the doors so nobody can leave. LOL.

Got back late last night from spending 4 nights camping in an RV in the infield of Talladega Superspeeday in Talladega, Alabama. Now I aint much of a Nascar fan at all, but I can highly highly recommend checking this expierence off your list. It was some of the most fun Ive ever had. Dont have much time to write right now but Ill post some pics and tell a couple stories when I get a chance later.BTW: Cubbies= LFT (can we not even be "in" one game outta 3) Bears= Still not completely dead, Thank you Green Bay turnovers.

Just got this shirt, from a company called Kowboys. Some poker players making some trendy stuff. The pic really doesn't do justice as to how nice this shirt is. Mine is green, but I don't see that as an option on their website. Anyway, check it out:http://secure.ultracart.com/catalog/KOW/te...ls/KG-705S.htmlMark
sweeeeeet.
I really don't know if I am running horribly bad, playing horribly bad or what. Down 7 buy ins in 2500 hands today.Just seems like I am getting played back at so much and as soon as I make a stand because I think they are coming in light, they come in with a huge hand. Am I the only one that feels completely lost at times? Basically, I miss value bets because I am gun shy, make bad calls because I think I am picking off a bluff, etc, etc, etc.
Also, over 5700 hands this month I am down money with AA, KK and QQ.
Poker's so evil. Break time?
My wife bought a new car today. 1997 Nissan Maxima with 28,000 miles on it. (we've been having all kinds of car problems with both our cars lately so she just wanted something really reliable to drive) So now instead of getting to my goal of only having one car for the family, we have 2 drivers and 3 cars. Bleh. checkymcfold would not be proud of me.Mark
I wonder if Jamie had any luck getting Al Gore to give him rides everywhere?
Thank you Green Bay turnovers.
Green Bay's end of 3rd QTR. turn over cost me $600. bleh~!

Cubbies played like a 100 loss team in the playoffs. At least Zambrano will have like 175 days off before his game 4 start.I'm kinda happy the Yankees lost but I was rooting for them to beat the Indians. It makes for better TV if it is Red Sox-Yanks in the ALCS. I'm an O's fan so I hate both teams anyway. The f'n Cowpies game pissed me off last night. Obviously I am a diehard Redskins fan and my gf is a huge Dallas fan...so we aren't friends during the football games. I was so amped up after that ending last night it was ridiculous. I told her all game that Dallas was going to win because I had that odd feeling in my gut. I kept saying this to her thru the whole 4th quarter because she was freaking out. Then she got pissed at me and said I was going to Jinx the Cowboys because I kept saying they would win. No such luck for me. :club: New England better win next week because I think my 'Skins will beat the Packers. The Lions are a poor man's GB. The Pack are too one dimensional and I like our matchup.

wowwwo. Dude, I've been running like this on and off since May. Lately it has subsided, but I got hammered again this weekend. I've taken sveral breaks and that is the only thing that seemed to help. I can totally feel your pain sir, if that makes you feel any better....

Thought you might be playing on Prima already.
I just wonder what people are thinking sometimes. Like, in the first hand, he has SOME fold equity, so ok, he was making a wierd bluff and I happened to turn 2pair. But in the second hand, I have $300 left, the pot is $200. He bets $100. I min raise to $200, leaving me $100 behind. He shoves the rest in. I can't fold here. Even if I'm the one being stupid in this hand, I cant fold 82 here!Mark

So yeah, I'm not going to lose any more. The goal is nl100 by November and nl200 by the end of the year. I'm going to start cutting down on work then, and by the time I go back to uni next year I'll be studying and playing only, no work. :fingers crossed face: Thats my long term goal.
