Not to spoil it for you but I have it on good authority that tonight's episode has a really sick guy that gets mis-diagnosed about 3 times before a seemingly random occurance results in House figuring out the real cause of his illness, all while mocking authority and his staff.
:club: I like House, but this a spot on description of 90% of the episodes.

We can't all watch lesbian porn 24/7 while drinking straight wood alcohol, doing construction, and hammering rusty nails into your foot for the fuck of it. Sorry I can't live up to you.

So I watched the recorded episode last night.Definately a little different for House. I think they are trying to hard to tell him to start caring for others. And the whole Rape Victim is so in tune to others immediately following her rape that she sees into House's soul and becomes the catalist for House to become momentarily human to be a stretch.I'm torn between wanting House to become more human and care, and staying the same so that I can laugh with him.And is Chase getting dumber?

1- I think since it's the first episode back after the whole Cuddy perjury thing, it's acceptable. Also, you have to take into account that for a good chunk of this episode, Cuddy thought he was still clean. It just seems to be the aftermath of the rehab. 2- I don't think it was that. I think, like many patients have done in prior episodes, they just saw how much of an ******* he was and figured that there had to be some sort of underlying cause. If his overall demeanor wasn't enough, the fact that he was adamantly avoiding her is a big enough tip off. 3- I think he's getting lazier. I think it's starting to show more and more that he really doesn't care much about the job.

That's how I feel now that Shake's title is "LoLzeRBeAmZ". I came up with that one night while annoying people in the PokerStars chat. I need to use it more often so that it's not forgotten.

I think all you whiners should be satisfied with this week's episode. It was good to see a return to a more medicine-driven episode, as opposed to the recent ones that were based almost soley on character development. Don't get me wrong, I loved the episodes, and I think a combination of the Tritter story and the last episode with the rape victim were a nice change of pace, but it's good to see them getting back to what made the show so great in the first place.Interestingly enough, when compared to the more "old-school" episodes, there were some subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences. Tonight's episode was basically Foreman's stage. He handled almost all the patient care and handled almost all the serious moments on his own. Also, he was the one to really push the envelope at the end, doing the colonoscopy literally behind the parent's back, and advising the kid to take the trial medication, risking his license. He was the one connecting with the patient, and dealing with the ridiculous family. Usually, it's all House's show, or, they'll cut between two different occurances, still keeping most of the episode's "flow" toward House. An example would be last week's episode. The main story was that of the rape victim, but Cameron also had the old crazy dying guy, which was played out intermittently. This week was Foreman's show, with spatterings of House's wheelchair/parking space dispute. House stepped in for his usual "save the day" moment in the O.R., but turned out to be wrong, which was a nice change, since everyone expects him to step up and figure it all out when the team fails to. I liked the shift of focus to Foreman, because I think he's a nice balance to the professional side of House's character, similar to the way Wilson's character balances his personal life. However, I REALLY wanted to see House tear the parents apart, like he most likely would have done had this episode happened in Season One. I liked his "I don't think Cuddy would GYP me." line, but would've liked to see the ensuing arguement as well. I realize it was simply a distraction so that Foreman could do the procedure, but if they were to cut back and forth somehow it would've been nice. I think this is the start of the next major story line in the story, which is Foreman battling himself to not become House. Note that the patient in this episode pointed out that he was alone, and they made sure to drive it home by showing him eating alone. There have been signs of this earlier in the series, most notably the episode where Cameron points out that they wear the same sneakers. I think it was the episode with the kid who was poisoned by pesticides on stolen jeans. The mother of the kid was extremely intrusive and overprotective, and compared Foreman to House several times in the episode. I'm thinking that this could be the start of a new theme, along with a possible House/Cuddy relationship/sexual encounter. Predictions for the remainder of this season:1- I've said it before, I'll say it again. House and Cuddy are gonna hook up in some way.2- A major House screw-up, in which Foreman steps up and corrects it, the way House would have earlier in the series.

Cool video I found on Youtube. Kinda long but very well done.http://youtube.com/watch?v=eEAlC_zzoHM
That was a pretty fantastic montage. As for this week's episode, it was great as usual. Just not superb. I think too much emphasis on any one of the team members distracts from the episodes - neither Cameron, Chase, nor Foreman I think could carry a show on their own. If CW is right, I'll be both delighted and disappointed. I'd love to see a new Cuddy and House dynamic and where it could lead in the show, but a Foreman storyarc just wouldn't be very sexy for me. I'd much rather see more Wilson than Foreman. More Cuddy vs House. Hell, I'd love to see Chase & Cameron go at it again. I think Foreman's role has been pretty perfect for his character thus far, don't ruin a good thing.

Yeah. Most of the other stuff is terrible, but there are a few good ones. This one was easily the best I've seen. There's one to "Behind Blue Eyes" and another to "Teenage Wasteland" that starts with him playing air-piano from the episode in Season One.

I hate you so much. Why must you torment me?Taking the time to post this means you probably had to close a window of 2-5 NL, or at least divert your attention for a few seconds. Imagine all the money you could've been missing out on.

I can not begin to express all the ways you are wrong. And I feel like there was alot of wasted potential in the episode. If they had shown House shoot down the parents, the episode would have been that much better (they showed him doing it, but not any of the conversation). All in all, it was ok. I still think the rape victim one was better.

This past episode confirms my idea on both topics. Foreman's g/f's speech when he broke up with her, comparing him to House, and all the nonsense with House and Cuddy on the date, plus the date's summary of how Cuddy is when she's talking to him.Am I good or what?

Oh I forgot to complain about the fact that there is, yet another, three goddamn week wait for a new episode. I don't get it. Is it a matter of the time slot being needed? Move it to a different slot. Is it a matter of not enough episodes? Put em all back to back and just end the season. No need to stretch it out and have these long, obnoxious waits between every episode. Also, according to the preview, another big secret about House is supposed to be revealed. Since the last "big secret" was that his dad was mean to him, I'm not getting my hopes up, but the fact that Wilson apparently doesn't want House knowing anyone knows makes it seem better.

the gaps in between so many episodes this year makes it feel disjointed. the shows have been great, but i want them every week, not just when fox isn't running additional american idol slots. it's ridiculous.really enjoyed the house/wilson time this week. that whole relationship is as interesting to me as the house/cuddy one.
