j2k99 0
too many scenarios. IMO:- always assume dealer's hole card is a 10- never buy insurance against dealer's A (worst bet you can make in BJ)- double down on soft cards if dealer is showing bust card (3,4,5,6).- always hit on 16 if dealer is showing face cardagain, lots of scenarios to consider. good luck

Scanner313 0
I know there are a lot of players here who don't think this is a worthwhile strategy, but when I play I always use the "power play" betting method. As for playing the cards, get a basic strat cheater card and follow it to the letter. You can keep it in your hand and they don't care. The power play betting strat is easy. Start at the minimum bet (you decide what that is based on your bankroll). I would suggest buying 30 min hands worth of chips. Every time you win a hand, increase your bet by 50% (or as close as you can to 50% with the chip denoms you have). Don't stop increasing no matter how many hands you win. Once you lose, go back to the minimum bet and begin again. Once you've passed 2 wins you're in the positive. And if you hit the long win streak it will pay you much more than if you only bet the minimum. This strategy does not guarantee you'll come out ahead, but when you hit long streaks of wins (7 or 8 in a row) you will make a nice profit. And you'll stand to make much more when you've won 5 or 6 in a row and get a split or double down opportunity. That's where you can really clean up if you get good cards.Since I started using this betting method I've come out a winner far more times, and for far more money, than I ever did playing just the minimum. Streaks definitely happen, and you have to capitalize on them when they do.

scottyno 0
ouch.so is what he's saying wrong?p.s. i'm willing to lose a bit of money if i can win something in the end.if you're talking about scanners strat it doesnt really make sense to me. Suppose you keep winning and moving up. Eventually you're going to be in a spot where you're supposed to double and in order to double you have to risk all your profits that are supposed to be not in play so you can have a winning session.plus, theres no such thing as "a rush" anyway. winning 1 hand doesnt change your odds of winning the next one, so keeping increasing because "the cards are hot" or you're on a rush makes no sense. jlgosse 0
well im looking for basic strats anyway, but if anyone has a real double, double strat for a win or loss, I will play that. If I go broke, I can re-deposit.Also, to the morons who are being ****ers about me playing blackjack, shut the **** up. I'm going on a trip with a large group of friends from high school (I graduated 2 years ago), and it's absolutely guarenteed we will be in there gambling, so I might as well increase my chances of winning SOMETHING. Sorry if I have friends to party and gamble with, unlike you.
Vogelb5 0
jlgosse - they're just watching out for ya. Blackjack is very hard to win.. the house always has the edge.. therefore, your destine to lose. Good strategy just softens the blow and gives shorterm wins. This month I've done alot of casino whoring playing blackjack. Poker was getting old and boring. I knew the rules but no strategy. I found a chart online that I have up while I play and actually have been making decent money. But if your just playing for fun and trying to learn so you don't lose everything.. just have fun.
