so the first day after it snowed, the roads were a little dangerous for a Camry, so I rode with my roommate. today, it was 8:30, 15 degrees outside, and my Camry had ice and still snow on it. so I rode with my roommate again. the girl that we suspect wants to date me happens to be walking out tonight when we were. gave me shit for being so lazy. I'm worried about this company, Tilt. There is a reason most companies don't hand the reins to an unknown person and then not provide accountibilty for him/her.

I have zero concerns about the company. And I was not an unknown. Six out of the eight territory managers all worked for the same company at some point so we all either knew or knew of each other. The COO, the one that first reached out to me has a stellar reputation and everything he's worked on has turned to gold.

 

To Rons point, the owner is who I report to and his philosophy has been to hire proven people then stay out of their way and let them do what's made them successful.

my roommate wanted 'senior' in front of his current title, and my company shot him down saying "we don't do business that way" insinuating that they don't sell personalities when it comes to who is making investment decisions. they then immediately gave that exact title to someone else in a different area of the company. I was delighted.

The title I want is still in play--they are also interviewing consultants, and in all the conversations and flopsweat, they've told me one of the possibilities is

I actually only listened to the last album a couple times through. Unless I come home Sunday night after a few strong beers, I don't usually subject the wife and child to loud hip hop in the house, and I have a 4-5 minute commute, so there's not a lot of time on there. I've had to work to get the RTJ going, but I missed out on a lot of stuff from the Kanye crew over the last couple years. I'll try to give...My name is my name (?) another shot or two.

I'm blessed (thanks brvy!) in that I can listen to my iPod all 8+ hours I'm at work because I don't really have a lot of human interaction and so I listen to a lot of stuff. And also I can go home and put on some music while I just sit around in the living room in the dark. I usually listen to music the first four hours of the day as I'm waking up and then podcasts in the afternoon. It's a nice system.
