Tantalar 0
Ok I got a plan, ill be playing 100NL at turningstone this weekend. It's my first time there, so it's going to be exciting. I have a question though. If I make say $100 profit, and I have $200 in chips infront of me, am I allowed to cashout $100 of it and then come back to the table? And also, can I ask for the money in the form of a check? I dont want to carry around a lot of CASH if I do manage to win something. Again, ive never been to a casino, and have no clue how the system works. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

BrantC 0
Most casinos will let you cash out your profit, however, pause for effect, you have to keep that money on the table in order to have the table qualify for the jackpot, if there is one. I'm not sure about a check but I have seen cash only at all of the casinos that i go to. Good luck to you.
Guest Zach6668
I've never seen a casino where they will let you take chips off the table. The only thing you can do is take ALL your chips off the table and go back on the wait list, and get back in, but a lot of times, they will only let you buy in for what you took off table in the first place.Once however, I was in Winnipeg, and I had all the money I brought on the table, and I managed to convince the pit boss to let me take $10 off to buy some food from the McDonalds that they have in the Casino.Zach
Ryan_Sanders 0
I play mainly live in L.A and I have never heard of anyone being allowed to take money off the table. The only thing you will be able to do is a table change. Good Luck
BrantC 0
The only one i have been to actually that lets you buy out your chips is Pauma off the 76 in San Diego. They let me have 100 dollar bills on the table and then the remainder of my chips.
DaBruins 0
at Morongo (where i usually play) any table change requires you to buy in at your new table for no more than the maximum even if you had more chips. So if you want you can take your 500 stack on the 100 max buyin, go do a table change, and pocket 400 while you buy in at the new table for 100.

minorityreport 0
Just ask for a color change bro.And yes, you can ask to get a check cut for you. Ask the floor person to help you.
pokerloser 0
OK, In The LA Area. The Bike, Commerce, Hawaiin Gardens, Hollywood Park and The Hustler, will not let you have "cash" on the table, it kills the jackpot, you can have chips obviously but NO cash. You can not remove $100 if you get to $200, or any amount for that matter, you have to leave the table and get back on the wait list. Even then if someone speaks up it is frowned upon. You can however take "small" amounts and pay for food or drinks. As for checks, Why, take the cash baby, and what you will see at the casino is thousands of dollars being pulled out of pockets. Your $200 will not entice anyone to rob you. Keep the cash. All casinos have varying rules regarding many of these issues, just ask the floorman or the dealer, they will be happy to inform you of their house rules. They are generally nice people and want you to have a good time. And Good Luck, play your best.

One, once u get to 200, start checking as each dealer comes around for green $25 chips. I've seen people sneak those into their pockets. Personally, I never take profits off the table, as it cuts into the amount of chips I can win.Second, they do do table changes if they aren't wicked busy. That is another time I have seen people take chips out of play.Finally...if you are really worried about carrying around a lot of money (say all of $400) maybe its too much to be gambling in the first place? Just a thought.I've walked out of TS with over $1500 in my pocket several times, and never felt nervous. Excited, maybe. Nervous, no.
