No_Neck 0
PL Omaha I am taking him over just about anyone, I think he relys heavy on reads. Don't let the mouth fool you he is a quality player
shinychicken 0
How do you not see his talent at holdem? He is constantly going deep into tournaments. Did you know he also made the final table in when Varkonyi won at the WSOP? Dude is really good, but I just don't think he gets the respect he deserves because of his mouth. Really just puts a target on his head, but he can play his was out. Like neck said, he can read with the best of them...

Petoria 0
PL Omaha I am taking him over just about anyone, I think he relys heavy on reads. Don't let the mouth fool you he is a quality playerI think you mean Omaha Hi/Lo. He's said to be the most creative in the world at O8. I actually haven't heard much about his skill at PLO. I'd think a game where you need to be both creative and have a strong reading ability. Would suit him quite well, also.

pokerkid 0
the more i think about i, the more i have to respect the guy.Could "the mouth" just be a ploy to discredit his own skill.Think about it: Does he purposely portray him self as a rambling meathead to decieve others into thinking he's not that good and therefore get more action?Just a geuss, but that's some pretty impressive deception if it's true. Deepkoncntrtion 0
so you've seen his books, what about the times you weren't watching, how is he doing in live games? Quit being another gossip monkey. For the past three days he asked several ppl on UB to transfer him $, no1 will... even nvrwin lied and said he cashed out all his money so he wouldn;t have to transfer to mike....He himself typed in the chatwindow to Friedman that he was stuck 300K in the past 3 weeks...maybe he was lying...i doubt it tho...when ur BR is in the millions, 300K could just be a (-) variance swing...watch Mikey play a couple hrs and you'll realize its not...like the 2hr tilt session he had w/ Halling...He plays way too long...sometimes 24 hr sessions, he doesn;t have the discipline too quit when he's losing.Believe what u want, all I'm suggesting is that his addiction to gambling does some serious harm to his bankroll.Remember all the posts a couple weeks ago when he took down a 32K pot of Friedman by calling his all in bluff w. AQ...in that same session Mikey gave it all back plus another 20K...
joeltebbutt 0
Mike just doesn't care about the money. The only reason mike wants money is to keep him in action. In his interview with cardplayer he said that winning a million at this years wsop just meant he could pay off a few markers

I know he says he's clean, but after reading the cardplayer article it seems like he's in denial, and doesnt see a problem with what he was doing. I mean, come on, when was the last time you heard that someone sold coke to a cop and claimed that it was a trumped up charge. It doesnt make sense.I just can't root against the guy, though. Everyone says that he's generally a pretty nice guy, that just won't shut up when he should.

jcpoker 0
Whether or not you like Matusow, you have to admit that he makes poker more fun to watch.During one hand at the world series this year when things were gettting heated between him and Shahram Sheikhan, Matusow screamed out "I picked the wrong year to quit doing drugs!"Also, once he got bounced from the final table we were left with 10 of the most boring hours of poker ever (he was the only player betting most hands before he was knocked out).He may have drug/personality/addiction issues, but he is quite a character and overall good for the game of poker.____________________________________________www.pokulator.com check the odds, raise your game
